Tony's Tyre Service - Tuam Street

I went a few months ago to get a few things done to my car due to WOF requirements. The quote was quite high but I had to get work done as my son's partner was having a baby in the same week and I urgently needed the car. I went to pick the car up and was told that all the work is done. Next day when I took the car for WOF the fog light wasn't fixed. So I had to take it back. They unplugged the fog light and still charged me for,initial price quoted and also on the bonnet of the car there are two unusual marks left. I rather shop around for better service and price

The best service overall. Efficient, informative and very professional!!Their work made up for the useless and incorrect information I received from the 0800 online booking system.

I see there are a number of one star reviews for this place and I am adding another. I won't be going back. Took my car for a service and was told I'd be called when it was ready. No call. Had to ring via the call centre, leave a message for someone to finally call me back. Eventually picked up my vehicle and drove home to find that it was seriously overheating due to whoever did the radiator flush not refilling the radiator correctly. There was over 3 litres of water/coolant not added! I had to take my vehicle back to them to have the radiator refill done again which cost me 1 1/2 hours of my time plus mileage in my vehicle. After it was remedied I asked if there was some compensation for my time wasted thinking that maybe a goodwill gesture of a free service voucher or something would be fair. I was told a hard no and simply that they were sorry but mistakes happen. Heads up Tony's Tire Service Tuam Street - mistakes like this shouldn't happen from a professional" service centre and it shouldn't be acceptable that they do. Put proper processes in place to ensure they don't happen. The risk of engine damage to my vehicle through your incompetence was high. Your attitude to customer service means you've lost me as a client and I'll be telling everyone I know not to use your services. I am sure there are much better places to get work done on your car."

Very friendly service and took the time to explain what was done in more detail when I asked.

Wanted to buy a couple of tyres and arrange a time to get them fitted and get a wheel alignment. I initially called their phone and did not get answered. Later on I was driving past and called in. Went into reception and no one there and there was no buzzer to push. Waited 5 minutes with no one coming and then left. Will take my money to somewhere else that knows what customer service is.

I was booked for wheel alignment but Tony Tyres did wheel balancing, no good service.I double checked with staff before car drop off and still did balancing not alignment.Not recommended for future.

The best service ever. As a single female I have severe anxiety when it comes to anything car related ( having been burnt by previous mechanics). I received a prompt and well priced quote. I went to tuam street chch branch and the service was so extraordinarily good. I received a video during the day to show what they had done plus what was needed so I could get a wof. The video provided me with confidence I was not fixing something that did not need to happen. all staff were friendly . Lifetime customer from now on. Esp as you now offer more services than tyres.

Super friendly customer care & quality service. They were happy to carry out addtional services i requested on the spot and was even supplied with the courtesy car. Also recieved a complimentary inspection (engine & brakes) with a video link and audio description of the work in progress to see for myself whats good and needs to be fixed which was really cool.printed price list and quote for recommended work was included upon payment. Car is driving like a dream :)

Tony's Tyre service is a great place to get a service if you are happy with their pricing. I went recently but unfortunately had a miss communication with their call center and one of the employees regarding pricing. After talking with Cody and discussing the situation I faced he efficiently and professionally helped me understand the error at hand. The whole situation was confusing for both parties, so I am glad we managed to resolve the issue. Big thanks for Cody for assisting me with my problem and big thanks to the team for looking at my car! :)
