A great activity with loads of wildlife to be spotted as you cruise down the river. Quite peaceful when you stop paddling. Bring sun protection and a change of shoes just in case. The owner operators are lovely and take good care of you. The taxidermy museum has some genuinely interesting creatures, if you are lucky you might spot the dog (alive not taxidermied) who is up for a pat!

Karen and John are awesome!! So friendly and helpful. Thanks so much for renting us your kayaks for our adventure. We had a ball! The taxidermy museum is brilliant too.

Thanks for the day!! We headed out for a paddle down the river and it was a fab way to spend the afternoon! John accommodated us at the last minute, and took us down a different route because the river was low. Awesome fun, beautiful scenery. Highly recommend for beginners through to experienced paddlers who want an easy afternoon.

Interesting place; basically just a shed filled with taxidermied animals. Friendly guy, and even friendlier dog named Pesto who greets you on arrival (and even jumped into the back seat of our car!)The taxidermy is pretty interesting, if you're into that kind of thing. The owner did most of the work himself, andmade himself available for any questions.
