Had wonderful dinner!! So cozy inside and amazed by professional service! Got great recommendation for wine to go with lamb. Very fresh fish and the best dessert as well! Will visit next time in Akaroa !

Excellent wines, great service, well flavoured and presented food. Olive starter generous, mains not so much. We had beef and vegetarian - both delicious. But the vegetarian at over $40 wasn't filling. So small portions and menu choice. Maitre'd fantastic.

Fantastic food here, the scallops are absolutely amazing melt in your mouth moments, flavours that will blow your mind. Highly recommended and willbe back again. The venison duo pictured.

This place never disappoints. The team maintains a great selection of wine and the menu is small but comprehensive, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. Virtually everything is made in house, even the liquorice, and most options were able to be made gluten free.

Had high expectations based on other 5star reviews. The bread entree was yummy, my husband and I both had the beef fillet mains. Not a lot of flavour and the seasonal veges were on the undercooked side but it was a good dish overall. The dessert for $17 was the tiniest lemon meringue tart with a stale pastry base. It said it came with meringue and lemon ice-cream but instead all it has was a dollop of cream which I can’t eat and wasn’t listed on the menu. I did voice my concerns about food not reflecting/including was was stated in the menu but was brushed off. Wouldn’t return in a hurry. The server was friendly and attentive.

Ate here with my partner last night. Excellent food, good selection of wine. Went for risotto as we are vegetarian and weren’t disappointed. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
