Incredible food and service. I took my fiance here for his birthday and we had a great time. We sat by the window too and it was nice to watch the city life outside.

Fantastic experience with Staten Eatery. Beautiful meals. Wonderful service. Phenomenal communication. Very efficient at catering for our large group for dinner, even opened for us outside of their normal trading. Very competitive pricing considering the quality. Family friendly too

I don't even know where to start.We called to make a booking and was told they only do walk ins. I double checked if they would have space for us in 10 minutes. We arrive at a very empty restaurant only to be told they are fully booked. (Only 3 tables had seated customers out of 14). I then explained the phone call I had 10 minutes ago. Suddenly we are offered a table but told it would be a 30 minute wait for food. We decided to wait. An hour later we finally get out food. Disappointment. The portions are small for the price you pay and one piece of chicken was under cooked.

Hmmm... Honestly? I'm confused. Recent reviews have scored pretty high but our experience tonight was totally lack lustre and overpriced.The service was where I put one star - our waiter was reasonably attentive and pleasant. The other star was for the mere existence of the place and the fact they were able to accommodate us on a busy Friday night.We both ordered a couple of drinks and burgers (which come with fries) and fried calamari to share.The calamari was tender and served with tasty condiments. Not bad. However, my partner took a bite of his burger and couldn't continue. The rest of the patty went untouched. I managed to make better headway on mine but, frankly, you could get a better burger in a chip shop (for half the price).

Wonderful waitress, unfortunately that’s were the wonder started and stopped. The menu on the website hasn’t been updated to what we were given. It was almost half an hour before our drinks arrived, and almost an hour for the food to arrive even though the restaurant was less than half full.The red wine jus was like no red wine jus I have ever tasted, it completely tainted what could’ve been an average steak. The extra star is awarded for a happy teenager who enjoyed the burger.

The Staten staff are absolutely amazing. They allowed our beloved doggy into the restaurant and whipped up an amazing meal for him. Our food was not only aesthetically pleasing but served hot and was complete delightful.

What silly opening hours. Doors were open and still got turned away. Need bigger opening and closing sign. Why close at 9.30am? Such a prime location for brunch. Waste of space.

Friendly and welcoming staff who provided excellent customer service.Really nice atmosphere in the restaurant as well.I ordered the smashed chicken and it was yummy and well seasoned.Would definitely come back!
