The Coffee Pottery Cafe
Sorry but this place has gone downhill. Visited during the red light setting and their “staff” consisted of children. The older boy behind the counter was excellent - but then they had a boy who looked about 6-7years old bringing people their food who let the place down. He didn’t have a mask on, and wasn’t following any hygiene, talking to cafe goers closely, and at one point he took off his gumboots and touched his feet - not long before then carrying food and drinks to tables. Guests had to ask for cutlery etc. Absolutely not the kids fault, the cafe should have had an actual adult or appropriate aged person in a customer facing role - we expected far higher service when paying fairly expensive prices for the food. Food was okay, but our poached eggs were over cooked.

Waited 45 minutes for cabinet food to be warmed up while listening to staff argue with each other. Every customer there was asking where their food was and eventually refunds. The only employee of The Coffee Pottery Cafe that seemed to care or tell us what was actually going on was a young man behind the counter, if not for him I would be aiming for negative 5 stars. Great location, poorly managed.

This is my favorite cafe by far it has a nice look and feel i would recommend coming here, good for all ages big playground coffee and food was delicious pottery gallery is beautiful.

Really gone down hill. Burnt coffee and expensive and unusual brunch menu. Spent $21 on a bread/egg/avocado combination that tasted bland.Will not be back again sorry.

Went here a little while ago, the food was over priced and quite frankly disgusting, we couldn’t finish what we ordered. The ‘toasted’ sandwich had raw chunks of red onion and were cold in the middle with barely any ham and what appeared to be budget white bread - I have nothing against budget brand, but if you’re going to charge $11 for three ingredients I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect something pretty good.I struggle to understand how you could mess up something like a toasted sandwich so badly.The coffee was terrible as well.It is a shame that such a nice venue/setting is let down by over priced substandard food and coffee.We definitely would not come here again unless there is a change of ownership.

The food here was absolutely foul! I would not recommend dining in this poor excuse of a cafe, the food came out cold and inedible not to mention we were served our food by a child possibly 5 or 6 years old who didn’t speak and was rubbing his snotty nose after placing our plates down on the table (not the child’s fault). The setting is lovely, however customer service and the quality of the food and coffee was terrible I would never return!
