Pies were cold, when mentioned to the staff they told me the pies in the warmer were cold because it is winter...Wanted a refund and was denied, but offered to have the pie microwaved. Sorry i come to bakery for a fresh baked hot pie. Not a cold pie to be microwaved and turn out wet and soggy.

Akland, NZ - Indeed a lovely little bakery with fresh hot savoury pies & all sorts. Cakes and sandwiches looking absolutely fresh & tasty but I only had room for spinach & onion quiche which could do with less onion & greens and more egg & spice. Friendly service and very clean.

Wasnt sure about.the place as i am not a local but it was busy, a good sign. Pepper steak pie was very good so went back 2 days later for another. Plenty of meat. Apple turnover can be had with or without cream, again, plenty of apple. No hesitation going back on my next Auckland trip

What food I have had had been very nice and hot. The young woman serving behind the counter could do with some manners improving. She looked me up and down and made me feel uncomfortable, she talked over the top of me twice over a period of 4 seconds when I was trying to explain to her about my faulty card and advise her when I had a new replacement card and being really pleasant. One day she might be working elsewhere than a bakery she should learn to be respectful especially to elderly people. I won't be going there anymore two other bakeries very close by.

Bought x2 chkn pies. Took bites.Both pies were Luke warm.Shared friendly constructive criticism about Pie-Draw temp. Their response- Colder because it's winter"? Then offered to microwave pies. No refund OR apology. Didnt want our "fresh" bakery pies microwaved. Obviously couldn't eat rest of them

Had a pie, spring roll and some slices, all the food was delicious and the hot food was very hot and yummy. They had a couple of vegetarian options too which was nice.Staff were friendly and helpful

Got a chicken pie and a bacon and egg one. Cheapest pies around at $5. Nice and tasty, plenty of filling. Ladies serving are really nice and the bakery is clean. Recommend if you have limited budget.
