Lume Nails

Friendly staff and I love my nails!! 100% recommended, little bit of language barrier. Only advice for them is maybe not rush the process and more questions to the customer. Other then that would be back and share with family and friends to visit.

I have been going to Lume Nail since early 2023 and the three times I got my nails done, they were great and lasted at least four weeks. However, I went in for gel manicure last week and I am not sure if the technician was new but she did a terrible job at removing AND applying the polish. My nails weren't soaked long enough so the gel needed to be scraped off my nail bed, which in turn made my nails very thin and weak. On top of that, the gel applied wasn't cured properly and I could see air bubble right after. The gel colour was lifted as the air bubbles grew bigger. After three days, they started to come off. I had to cut my nails short to prevent breakage and possible infection. Not only this is frustrating and scary, it is also a waste of money. I hope this never happens to anyone and I am never going back.

Quite literally the WORST experience I've ever had. I ask for a manicure and pedicure.My pedicure lasted all of 15 minutes and my feet were not even put in water. They didn't even pull out a file to file my toes nails. Let alone soak them, scrub them, massage etc. basically my nails polish was removed and reapplied. Poorly too. I have left with jaggered toes nails with polish on my skin around my toes and it doesn't even cover the sides of my nails. This was not a pedicure.My finger nails are all jaggered and sharp and again was not a manicure. The polish is not to the edges. I'll be going to another salon tk get them redone and I paid $100 for all of this. Highly highly disappointed and will never return here. What a poor experience

I have been doing my nails with nail professionals for many years now, but the experience that I had with this shop was shocking. The customer service was terrible, all the employees would talk between themselves in their foreign language and none of the customers could understand them, very disrespectful. The quality of the gel polish applied and the work skills that those girls have are down to zero. As I was disappointed with the look of my nails after just a week or so, I decided to go back and take them off. Again, they would all speak in their foreign language and the girl that was taking my gel polish off, did not apply enough of the acetone and the whole experience was very painful. I could not believe what kind of experience I had, and I do not recommend this place. Do not even think about going there to waste their money. Terrible!!

The place was nice, clean, and tidy. Girls were lovely and engaged in conversation. I got the dining power, and they were well done and have lasted 3 weeks so far. I will definitely go back. I do recommend booking an appointment.

I have had the same lady twice for my pedicure. Both times, I have asked her not to cut the nails, both times she has and cut into my toe. Today I have an infected toe. Each time she says she understands, then goes ahead anyway. I won't be going back as it simply leaves me have to tend to a the aftermath. There was no soaking of the feet, nothing. Very rough, and then she laughed when I told her that I asked her not to cut my toe nails. No sorry nothing, she just kept going. I also got my false nails take off as my nails underneath have grown. They lady mentioned my nail where now strong. This is because she only took half of the false nail off, and the result is incredibly bumpy. I have had my nails done a lot of times, and chose this as it is close to me, however, I will not be going back. I will have to go elsewhere to fix my fingernails. Very disappointed.

Tried this place for the first time and unfortunately won’t be going back. There were no hygiene practices being followed. The lady doing my nails grabbed a file from a drawer, then midway through filing my nails reached over and used the same file on the lady next to me who had just taken her nails out of the UV light. She didn’t tidy my cuticles at all. Literally just filed and applied the gel polish.

My previous nail extension lasted 6 weeks! I’d received compliments for my 6 weeks old nails. My nail tech really listens to what I wanted and so flexibility with appointment. Her attention to details on designs were immaculate. My nail removals were professionally done(not over filing) I’m loving my current Christmas themed set. Will definitely be a returning :)

Had a gel manicure done here and while the shaping was great, the customer service was average and the gel polish turned yellow the next day despite me not coming into contact with any chemicals etc. I went back a few days later and they did remove the polish free of charge. Will not be visiting again.

Disappointed with service. my partner purchased me and a friend mani/pedi combos. I wanted to upgrade mine to a full set acrylics. I just looked at the website and they charged me for a full set and did not just charge the difference of the mani that was already paid for! That really makes me feel like I was ripped off.Also a full acrylic popped off in a week. Our feet were not scrubbed, it was super rushed and not relaxing at all. I left with a major hang nail on my pedicure that was from how my nails were clipped.We wanted to have a fun girls day but barely had time to look through the nail colors because it was so fast. The complete pedicure from filling the bowl with water to polish was done in 15 minutes!
