McCreadies Paddock campground at Karekare
A perfect spot to stay if you wanted to escape from the boring or even nasty daily life. Camping here for nights and exploring around for amazing views during the day would be very enjoyable, refreshing and relaxing.

Mean campsite not the biggest but that promotes a community feel. Always crack up people here good for a swim, lots of mozzies tho

Nice little spot to stop for a picnic. Toilets and a little stream near by. Not much else there, but you can walk 15-20mins up the road to the falls.

Sitio sencillo para camping,bonito, al lado de la carretera, los baños como casi siempre... Huelen fatal y lleno de mosquitos,pero si hay papel. Hay un rio tambien para bañarse.

Beautiful camping area but a few things to consider. There is no phone service there which was unhelpful when council came to check proof of booking so screenshot would be ideal. Also, the place is near the road so expect quite an influx of cars driving by or even doing u-turns where your car is parked. Alot of mozzys at night but thats to be expected camping near a river so be prepared. Happy camping :)

Lots of cars go by and honk and stuff to wake you up. Very small area but has some nice features
