Typically a long queue to pay despite it largely being self checkout. Generally just 1 staff member on the customer service (returns) desk. Store stock levels on website are often incorrect (generally low stock actually means no stock) although this is fairly common for most Kmart stores. Parking easy to find. Handy as open till midnight.

Always love a trip to Kmart. But always come out with heaps more than we had planned to buy, especially at Christmas :) Loads of great value gifts and items for your home. Love their scented candles. Loads of parking available, a short walk over the road to The Base or a very quick drive. Click & Collect here is super quick and efficient. Photos taken during several visits.

Most of the shelves were empty. Not sure what's going on but this is my 5th visit where the empty shelves is pretty common. Couldn't find what I am looking for, and I prefer the in-store shopping (if possible) instead of online. Wasted my time driving all the way there.

Great store with great products, just what we all love about Kmart. I see Kmart everywhere around my home and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Prices getting up there a bit now though on some stuff… Note to management: Don’t alienate your loyal baseline customers on a tight budget with higher prices or do so at your own demise.

Went there early in the morning to avoid Xmas people traffic. Staff were all really helpfuk. Two diffenent staff saw me looking fir stuff in different part of the store and offered their assistance. One of them even went to the back and check for me if the item I wmwanted was in stock and It was. Kmart offers great values, it out performers in terms of value for money if comoare to the Warehouse, other Pet stores (accessories), what's more is you can buy similar items at Kmart to what you can buy online say Ali express but without waiting for posting from overseas. Can't beat the values. This branch in Te Rapa currently open 24 hours leading up to Xmas, with ample parking at front multiple entry and exit to the main car park. Go early or late to avoid crowd/queues and if you are worried about Covid. This store is very popular with locals as the next closest store is all the way in CBD. There is something for everyone in the family at K Mart.

Finally a bubble machine that blows alot off bubbles. Thank you Kmart.Parents grandparents this machine is amazing .It needs alot of batteries and bubble mix but if your children like bubbles then this is the machine

Been shopping at Te Rapa Kmartsince it opened. Haven't had anything I find an issue thus far. Staff have been great to deal with, always find what I need in store. There have been a couple occasions from both Hamilton Kmarts when opening a purchased item it was partly damaged, returning and receiving a new one has never been an issue since I always keep the receipt an the entire packaging and make sure I take it back right away. Stock is reasonable as well as prices. My favorite purchase is the bench mixer.

Nice store layout, good opening times and quite clean/tidy. This store has alot of parking avaliable and alot of home/gift items, clothing, bathroom, etc. All ready for your convenience at competitive pricing

the shop itself is really good and has a great selection with lots of little 'different' things. at the moment though they appear to be short staffed, which is understandable in these times. found it hard to find someone to help me. i also accidentally bumped into a staff member and caught her radio, hanging from the back-pocket of her pants and apologised, but i received a rather impolite answer. really? it's not as if i did it on purpose.. next time (if there is a next time) i will think twice about apologising..This was just before Christmas. I'm sure the staff were very busy and possibly stressed, but an apology should not be thrown back in your face.
