Totara Health

Waited over an hour and my daughter still hadn't been seen by a nurse. Other people came after us and were seen by a nurse. Walked out.. Feel let down by lack of service and communication.

Calling Totara Health is a nightmare. You will need to wait while confronted with very loud repetitive and annoying music. If you turn down the volume, you will not hear the operator. Nurses and doctors and admin staff are great. However, if you only could get through without getting stressed.

The system of doctor call back is hopeless. Especially when we on level 1 and a cancer patient is in agony and yet cant be made an appt to be seen straight away. Reaping people off with fees and service very bad

Not as good as used to be sadly , good facilities, easy parking, professional service,pharmacy in same building

I phoned yesterday and was told my script would be ready for pick up at my local pharmacy the next day, awesome service I thought... I went to pick it up but there was no script for me ordered so I then had to phone back Totara health who now told me I had to see a GP before I was able to get this script (this wasn’t mentioned the previous day) but the next appointment is over 2 weeks away.I have just moved back from the UK... all I can say is give me the NHS any day!! I could order this script online and have it posted the next day... Totara health service is a terrible system, just to get a pill prescription. (The lady on the phone was really nice so I’m not mad at her, just the incredibly slow/ slack service)

I had an appointment today and felt rushed, had other issues that I wanted to mention and couldn't as I was guided out of the room.

This is the worst health care facility in the Hawke’s Bay by far called for a appointment for my step daughter waited over a hour after being told where to park. Went inside after waiting for a hour to be told appointment was booked in flaxmere with no indication from the caller very disappointed in the service will not be returning to this practice ever again. Be wise take your kids to someone that care about their health rather than sending them to ICU with rheumatic fever. Thanks for nothing tortara health hope no one else’s children experience this lack of communication service and basic human rights.

Have been a patient with Totara Health since 2008. Excellent care, costs, staff and facilities in Hastings and Flaxmere. Great to have a chemist on the premises too at the Nelson St facility. Easy access as well for both facilities.

By far the worst doctors i have ever been too. Constantly changing my gp and having no idea who im talking too, walking into appointments and being asked what i want from the conciltation. And barely being explained to abput diagnoais. Not all the doctors there are bad but most of them arent helpful and you walk away feeling very disheartened ESPECIALLY HAVING TO TALK TO RECEPTIONIST. Honestly if you dont have a doctors wait from another practise to take you on, its not worth it!!

Worst medical clinic in Hawke's Bay. They'll get your script wrong EVERY time you call up for a new one. You'll have to call back to get it redone, then fight them to get them to not charge you for the new script. Nowhere else is taking new patients, so I'm stuck for the moment
