My Mum and her partner visit regularly and reckon it's the best fish and chips in the area as locals. So when visiting Mum, Fish and Chips is my 1st meal when I come home to NZ. And I agree, bloody beautiful! Thoroughly enjoyed my 1st meal in NZ! I'm sure we will be back before I head home!

Really good range of fish, beer battered chips are lovely. Theres a fair few things on the deep fry - expected stuff like sausge, spring roll and hot dogs but there's also doughnut&moro bar. Burgers and family packs too. Some seating inside for waiting and a few tables for those who need to get stuck in as soon as possible, theres also a toilet inside. Not greasy, very tasty and well priced . Plenty of parking outside

Was really disappointed with my fish and chips. Chips were soggy and floppy, nothing crisp here.

The older man was extremely rude and accused me of eating while filling up my takeaway container. Instead of pointing at the rules, decided to yell at us. The food was good and everyone else was lovely.

The highlight of the meal was the chips. The burgers leave much to be desired. Plastic processed cheese (minimal). Minimal sauce and mayo. 3 different burgers and all 3 were very poor. Fish was average. Chinese is good there so find this very disappointing.Won't get burgers from them again. Definitely not worth the money
