We're fairly new customers here, after our long-time favourite yum cha haunt changed hands and menu. Glad to say we're very happy with the food here, it meets or exceeds our expectations. Well done and we'll be back again soon!

71$ was a lot to pay for this poor quality. Beef brisket Noodles 22$ were hard. Not much meat or bok choy in the soup.Double roast pork on rice was so over sweet I expected roast pork and bbq pork meat to be dry with some sauteed bok choi. But got a wet slimey mess, too much liquid in the container rice soaked in a sickly over sweet sauce should just rename this sugar syrup pork, was like a over sweet rice soup. This was so disappointing. Everything soaked in what I think was a watery hoisin sauce. Rice was like congee, sludge. Overcook and mushy. You are better off to go to little spicy in Riccarton 16$ for a much bigger and flavorsome beef brisket noodle soup. And bigger roast pork portion.

Food is not bad at all but a little on the high side. 2 dishes plus 1 plain egg fried rice for NZ$81. The premium they can charge is admirable and inspiring. Also, service is darn good and accommodating!

Westernised foods does not taste authentic at all, price is slightly high compare to food quality, service is slow. Very crowded, recommend to make reservation in advance.Har Gow (Shrimp Dumplings) seasoning are good but the skin is too thick.Chee Cheong Fun (Rice Noodle Roll) is too thick too and the shrimps were too little, it wasn't able to absorb the soysauce to infuse it's flavouring. Xiaolongbao is disappointing, totally dry and no broth from the bun, and taste bland.BBQ pork bun is too dry, colouring and taste are way off.Overall still a good place for Dim Sum / Yumcha.

I had crispy roast pork on rice and a hot and sour soup. I think it was a decent meal, I didn't like the sauce that came with the crispy roast pork, but I just will ask for no sauce next time, the soup was lacking a bit of the sour taste but still nice. The staff were nice and friendly, my only upset is they wouldn't give me 2 dumplings alone I would've had to buy a full entree just to taste the dumplings. They should have single buy options for the single person. Pork was a bit thin...

What a awesome place. Went in with a group of six and we all brought six different dishes to share amongst ourselves. Meals were perfectly cooked and we probably waited for 15 minutes before our meals arrived and it was very busy. My first time in Christchurch and this place is an absolute gem.
