Hired lawn mower the other day, worked well, service was fantastic and great pricing. Surely will be back next month!

Have found these guys to be flexible and responsive to changing needs and they are also experienced enough to be able to answer dumb questions in a helpful and friendly way.

This company used to be fantastic value and normally I would have highly recommended. However, I was shocked at the change. Now been sold to hirepool and the pricing has really gone up. So worth shopping around before you go here. Took a basic small tandem trailer that used to cost $55 for a day. These new guys only do a full day not a half day and they wanted $75 plus bond etc, etc, etc. Total Cost $205. They wanted $15 hire of a shackle that I buy from any other retailer for $7 new! I didn't want to buy the trailer, just use it for 4 hours to move a single couch. Trailer Condition was average at best, not clean and service was poor compared to the original company. Shame really disappointed. The contract paperwork was poor to. I had to request where the paperwork was for the money I had to pay upfront for bond. Total cost for 4 hours hire was $94.88 really expensive compared to the value of the asset being hired.

(Updated 2018 changed from 5 star) Tried with Hirepool (taken over from Kumeu Hire) but ended up moving on after many years going there. Became far too costly & could be mucking around there for 20 mins half hour just to get gear, often invoicing problems, & the place just lost the touch with people sadly. Had a good run when was Kumeu hire but had to make the call to move on given the antics thereafter takeover.

Great helpful and friendly team. They went the extra mile by collecting a chipper from another branch so that one was available for me. Highly recommended!
