Super disappointing Kamo Hotel. Not pleasant at all.1) have signage outside stating entry is through the pubside untill room key is allocated for the actual doors out front. My partner and I found it difficult to navigate to reception and found it odd we had to go ask the bartender in a pub full of drunks.2) A dehumidifier and rug doctor are your friends! The entire reception smells super damp and looks as if it sees a vacuum once a month. so if you have allergies I would suggest you swerve this Hotel :)3) room 6 is in need of urgent attention! The walls are filthy the floor was just as bad and the blankets are itchy, would recommend to bring your own blankets as the ones here are terrible and are more itchy than they are warm. Also the TV barely works and their isn't any wifi.Would not recommend this Hotel to anybody the place needs to be audited because I see the prlems in previous reviews reflect my exact experience.I can say in confidence that I will never be staying here again!

Dirty blankets, no lock on the shared toilet, shower over grubby bathtub looked about 100 years old.Wouldn't feel safe staying there alone or more than 1 night.

I stayed in the room which has window facing the road. The first night I could not get any sleep at all because of the noise. The next morning I was trying to contact the reception to change to a different room, however noone answered the phone. Maybe it was due to Easter holiday. So if you want to stay in this particular hotel, make sure to stay away from this kind of room.

It's very old.your room doesn't have a shower or toilet in it or washing facilities like a basin it's shared very disappointed.Telly doesn't work.Don't think I would recommend it to stay at.It's ashame that it hasn't had a good spruce up with a new paint job in rooms . Bed comfortable

Not really up to standard for these days. Needs to be painted properly. Light hanging off the wall. Bathroom was clean but also needs to be done properly

Me & my friend book this motel at last minute. Bad communication on the phone. Paid $95 for a private room. Omg we didn’t have any blankets. We used throw blankets from another room my friend had to get. No tv. No wifi. Mould on the floor, ceiling in the bathroom, lots of holes in the carpet. Yes, I know I was ripped off! Do not take your kids there. I’m asthmatic so this just was a big no for me.

So we had a meal here. Service was impeccable, food was pub food but tasty enough. Pretty good prices. So it was an ok for the 4 of us

The room was listed as a twin room with bathroom, the room was just a room with a shared bathroom for the whole level. This bathroom although made for shared use has no lock on the shower or bathroom. White stains on the bed sheets/blankets and the key you’re given also unlocks the front door, if all the keys unlock the front door it seems as though all rooms have the same lock so feels very unsafe that anyone could unlock your room door. Barely any staff anywhere just one lady down at the bar. We booked for a funeral so was on very short notice but as a young female I would never book again especially alone.

Beds are clean. Noisy place, traffic from main road and other guests leaving. No cups to make coffee or tea. One of showers is blocked and doesnt drain, but they leave you a plunger lol. This place was let down just by those little things. Service is friendly and helpful to carry bags up stairs.
