Select Cleaning Auckland

*BEWARE* Select Cleaning Customers. When something goes wrong, it feels like that you are being held at ransom by your cleaner. I have been a Select Cleaning Customer for 12 years and a few cleaners have changed hands in those years. We noticed that with our most recent cleaner, Pushpa (Portia) that her cleaning had deteriorated over time so we approached her that we are not receiving the same level of cleaning as promised by the company and as advertised on the company's website. Pushpa told me that you need to payup more. I was very surprised with her response, as our cleaner has putup her cleaning price twice in the last 16 months and we have very happily obliged. I contacted Select Cleaning's office and relayed my concerns to Graham and requested him to look into the matter for a solution. I did not hear from him so I called back and spoke with Sylvia and I have not heard from her either and it's been more than 2 weeks. We are very surprised with the unprofessional behaviour that this matter has been dealt with and the lack of responsibility from our cleaner Pushpa where she sends a text that she cannot clean our home anymore. It feels like that we are being held at ransom to payup more or else I won't clean your home. We are totally disappointed that the Master Franchisee was not interested in clarifying this situation for a win-win" outcome and their Select Cleaner

PRL600 Vehicle needs to learn how drive, based on that alone I wouldn't hire this company.

I was so impressed with the initial clean which far exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to the regular service to maintain the high standard which has been set.

Wow not even sure where to start. I used Select for approx 5 years. However went through 5 cleaners. They do not have the level of care or professionalism that is promised. I had one cleaner ring and get angry over what I was paying yet she had quoted it herself. I had a corner in my lounge that a cleaner didn’t touch for 6 months til I actually said to them I could tell it wasn’t being done.The head office acts sympathetic but actually Is bad mouthing you behind your back the entire time.After constant frustration and let down I finally cancelled my agreement and have gone elsewhere only to find that everyone else shares my pain about Select.I strongly urge anyone needing a cleaner to ask in your local community for one.

Bad experience. They are not qualified cleaners. Their company appears to just hire out students to do the job. They were also an hour late. We had to keep pointing out several areas that needed to be cleaned repeatedly..i would never hire this company ever again. I felt sorry for their employees. its the company's fault.

Disappointed to say the least. Contacted for a quote and arranged a time (not ideal as I had to leave work early). Was immediately told when she arrived that I needed to put my dogs away as cleaners had to have NO contact with the dogs at all due to an OSH regulation. I have one big garden and nowhere to separate my dogs (they can't even just be left outside the front door apparently) so she just left with no quote because in her words 'there was no point'.Now I'm not annoyed about dogs having to be away as they are big, and not everyone is ok with that, but I'm extremely annoyed at how rude Kate was about it. I'm also annoyed that nowhere on the website does it say anything about keeping pets away, and theres no option on the website to tell them I have pets. I've also searched for this OSH regulation and can't find anything. great way to waste your time.

Had cleaner dump me because she had more than enough houses to do on my day of cleaning, and would get more payment for other house than mine! English wasn’t fantastic and conversations were almost cocky from her.

It is wonderful to come home to a clean house. We have a busy lifestyle and it has taken a huge pressure off our weekends. They are reliable, trustworthy and very accommodating. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much. Georgina and Shane Crawford

Be prepared for disappointment. Very first clean the cleaner broke an ornament, left my perfumes scattered everywhere, didn’t vacuum rug in dining area. Second clean, never showed up! Email to Graeme never received a response. Took 2 weeks to even hear back to try and book them in the first place so I should have listened to my gut then.

Came and quoted for a clean, we accepted the quote, didn’t hear back from them for over a week so I called to check. Said they would have to call me back - obviously lack of system as should be able to bring up details as advised the quote number. Called back about 3 hours later to apologize and then said that they had NO cleaners available in the area.Why even quote the job in the first place??If you want to have your time wasted then use this company.
