No need to book, just rock on up. There's usually a line, but the wait times aren't too bad. Have been going here for 15+ yrs now.

Good haircuts, good conversations and good price makes for excellent value. Interesting customers. No EFTPOS may be an issue for some.

Tan does a great job.Been going to him for a number of years now.He is always meticulous and takes his time to ensure you get what you want.

20 Feb, 2020: I've been going to this barber for at least 5 years (possibly longer). Why, you ask?1. Mr Tan always has a friendly greeting for everybody and he's good for a chat while waiting or having your haircut.2. No need to tell him how I want my hair cut. Has remembered after my 2nd visit all those years ago. I just sit, chat (if I want to) and I'm always happy with the result.3. No need for an appointment. It's basically a first-come, first-served arrangement (I always try to get there before opening time) but he doesn't take long & I've been witness to other clients opting to let someone else go ahead of them if they look as though they're rushed for time. A really friendly atmosphere, here.Mr Tan's clients run the full range of ages from primary school to college students to old buggers like me. I've even seen females there, who just want a simple trim. One of my sons used to go to him until he discovered a friend of his was working at a salon.
