My elderly dad popped into this store on a quiet evening a few days ago - unfortunately he fell over sustaining mild injuries. The staff were amazing, not only did they arrange medical care, but the next day they telephoned him & organized for delivery of those few items he intended purchasing. Your care for him was very kind & so very much appreciated. Thank you!

Always able to find what I need to from a full groceries cart to the milk and bread for the week. COUNTDOWN in general is really great. From baked goods to frozen goods, start the countdown! Hahaha

Bought a loaf of bread and some salad things. Unexpectedly it came with a side order of low level huffing, no eye contact and complete indifference. But then the checkout experience matches the Soviet style austerity in the shop’s appearance, so perhaps it was all themed to help me adjust to new levels of national austerity? Still, a shy smile would have gone s long way.

Parking ok, not made for larger cars these days(perhaps center could look into this issue),plenty of shops to choose from. Nice eateries inside the mall.

Always a good variety. Never been disappointed. Easy access, wheelchair parking. Across from Coastlands mall and The Warehouse. Still the cheapest fuel.

Another very good Countdown Supermarket with a large selection of fresh and frozen groceries. The store is well stocked with a bakery and deli. Added to this is a lotto outlet.

Countdown Paraparaumu is a large store that is well stocked. There were some items that were not available in store for example a wider range selection of Arnott's and Griffins biscuits, single serve ready made meals.What Countdown used to do very well was make their own fish cakes with smoked fish.Perhaps Countdown should go back to making them along with ready made meals.I would like to see all Arnott's biscuit range in store like Countdown used to sell.The staff here are really friendly and helpful and funny and they shopping here a wonderful experience.

A VERY poor selection at the bakery here. As an online shopper for months you have had 20-40 dollars worth of bakery good I've ordered always out of stock. What happened countdown paraparaumu??? From a VERY good selection to a VERY poor selection that's always out of stock. If this continues i'll stop my online shopping with you.

Unfortunately this store is always excessively cold so I do a very quick shop. Don't know how the elderly shoppers & staff cope. Seriously the coldest supermarket I have ever been in.

It's alright. Pretty much only come here to get eggs and a few other items that they don't stock at pak n save.
