I especially like how they support local bands and as a previous student in Ucol music can really appreciate what they do for the community and students and music

Sunday lunch 1st experience. The real cook was not available but the bar stepped up and provided an amazing steak meal. Reasonable pricing a nice quiet space to eat and relax in. Will definitely be back again with all the family. Might be a new regular.Amazing!

Used to really enjoy this venue but the old lady with short dark hair with greys in it is the absolute worst! Rude, careless and just down right useless!Never again will we step foot into this venue and will make sure everyone I know doesn't support it either!

Attended the grunge band tribute night on 26 November. Band was awesome, but whoever the sound guy was needs to look for another vocation. Full volume to the point of distortion and feedback. Unholy bass made the three hour gig a disaster. Average decibels recorded at around 100. The venue is also rubbish. Tired, run down, poor acoustics. Five stars for the security team though who were very professional. In summary, an entertaining and talented band ruined by poor sound mixing.

Good friendly bunch here. Cool with the two different bars, Pokies, Pool Comps and Karaoke so plenty to do

Miss the old day's from the Royal when it was full with pool tables and good band night's. But unfortunately I think the supervising staff good be more friendly and learn about customer service and how to smile and not come across like they are miserable with being there.

They have wonderful meals here at responsible prices, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a variety of music and entertainment to suit. They will go above and beyond to try and cater to your needs and to ensure you have an enjoyable experience while visiting there

Never going back here. The old lady working the bar was just rude, useless, and disrespectful the whole time. And not just when you went to the bar for a drink, she would come around while you were playing pool or in the smokers area and just give you the death stare or just mouth off at you for nothing

Good for a quite drink. Been to a comedy festival here was fun. If you are new to town an wanting to come here for a drink by yourself I would recommend other places unless you have Chuck Norris or The Hells Angel's for an entourage to look after you. Always a few fights outside on the weekend. But the place itself is a palmy icon and very well known. If you get of a intercity bus an have a dry mouth or need to quench your thirst because your mates are late picking u up then this is literally a hop step and a jump from the square!
