We've just bought a mattress there and are very happy with it.The staff member who took care of us, Brenda was very knowledgeable about their different products without being pushy and managed to have our brand new mattress delivered to our door in just 48h. The delivery company also communicated really well.All in all a very pleasant experience. We will definitely be back.

Every time I visit this store the customer service is exceptional. Today I was helped by Brandon. He was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable on the stores products. The prices, quality and range of furniture was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend.

The worst service we have received ever. Took nearly a whole year to get a replacement couch as the one we purchased started fading within 2 months of owning it. Zero communication from big save. We had to call and follow up number of times and would never get an answer. Seemed like the big save team didn’t want to deal with us and kept ignoring us. I will never be purchasing from big save again and will be telling my friends and family not to as well. We purchased two couches both worth $4500 each and very disappointed with the service we received. Poor service wouldn’t recommend.

I had great service over the phone, the gentleman I talked to emailed me all the information I asked for and covered everything so I didn't have to ask more questions but he told me the product I was buying could be delivered asap because they had stock but when I went to the store and paid for it they told me it would take up to 4 days as they had to get it in. I don't mind waiting but it can be annoying being told two different stories. Besides that it was great service over the phone, email and in store. I having received my plush mattress to comment on it yet.

Went in to buy a bed at big save Porirua, when I went to try the firmness out on the beds, as the sales person suggested to see if it's the right feel.Luckly i had my glasses on and I noticed on the bed a whole lot of black and white bug eggs and lint all over the bed I was meant to lay on.They need to vaccum clean there display beds or hygientic clean them.I turned around when I saw this and left the shop, wasnt going to lay on that and went to bedRus and bought a bed base with draws and a head board.The beds I tried out were clean, lint and bug free that I liad on at bedRus.I believe a lot of people would ofwalked out after seeing that at big save so they could possibly be lossing customers, so I spent my thousands else where..

My husband and I purchased an Entertainment unit on the 4th of October this year and were advised that we would have the unit after 6 weeks, and would receive a call for delivery soon after.But after 8 weeks of waiting, my husband decided to give them a call to check the status of our order. He was told that their warehouse had had a fire, so there is a bit of delay on the delivery. They told us to wait another two weeks. Two weeks passed but we never received a call. So I decided to ring them, and was told to wait for another week. After a further week's wait, I rang them again to check the status. By that time we had had enough waiting and were frustrated with the lack of communication, so we decided to cancel our purchase and request a refund. But their customer representative called my husband, apologising for the delay and offered a guaranteed delivery of the unit by the week before Christmas with a refund on the delivery charge. We agreed to those terms. However by the end of that week we had received no call; which by now represented an all-too-familiar lack of communication.So my husband decided to ring them, and left a message - which yet again elicited no response. So we called them again today and spoke to a representative. She told us that the unit is still in Christchurch; and offered a refund, with an option to proceed with purchase if the unit was to arrive on Monday at their Porirua store.In summary while the store cannot be blamed for a fire at the factory, the delay was far longer than we were prepared to wait for and the lack of communication was very frustrating.Not recommended at all!

A good furniture shop and we would highly recommend itThe staff are very nice and delivery is usually the correct day!However, we were told we were going to have our new couch delivered on Saturday, however we didn’t get it so we went in store and they said they did have the couch, but in the wrong size wrong colour.I think it is a good store but just be aware that delivery might not be when expected

Here is a place you can buy furniture. You can save big apparently. Lily's beds and sofas are suitably comfortable for you to fall asleep and forget the terrors of their TV and Radio advertising.
