After an evening walk around the lake & were looking for the best fish and chips in town....and I think we found them! After Googling, Queen Vic Chippy, (down the road) came up as the Best. Went in there initially but found their prices quite high. Eg. $6.50 for hoki, $10 for a Ham Burger! No specialsWe opted for a $20 pack from Lucky.4 x fish; 2 x battered Sausages; 4 x wontons; 4 x Potato Scallops; $3 Chips. Bargain.The fish was beautiful and fresh and light & crispy. Wontons were yummy, as was everything else.Really fast cooking time too. 10mins! Lovely smiley farewell from the owner as we left. Definitely recommend. We'll be back!

I don't normally use this takeaway, my usual was closed. I could count the pieces of meat on 1 hand in my combo fried rice. The meat amount in the wonton was tiny. Don't recommend and will never go back.

Really enjoyed my picnic in the park with these takeaways. We got beef fried noodles, kung pao chicken, and chicken dumplings. The kung pao was good, but the beef and dumplings were especially tasty. Right amount of seasoning and oil, right amount of food for the price, overall very happy customers.I ordered in person and it took slightly longer than expected, but the high quality more then made up for it. Definitely will be coming back. There menu is pretty big, so plenty of options to choose from.

Have been getting fish and chips from here for years because it was close and convenient but I'm now looking for a new place. Order ahead online but still have to wait ages for the order to be ready, every time. It's like they wait for you to turn up before starting to cook. The fish burgers used to be amazing but recently they're filled with offcuts of fish and are very average. Wouldn't recommend anymore.

Bit disappointed, thought with such a good star rating that my family would be in for a real treat. Waited 40 mins, that was fine figured it must be worth it. But when we got home our scoop of chips was barely a handful, they were nice enough but if i had known how stingy the scoop was i would have orderd more. Fish was average, orderd fresh fish but definitely was not fresh. Wont be going back again!

Food price is getting more expensive at Lucky Takeaways here, each meal costs around $16.80 to $21.80 now! Chips meal we feel less amounts by months, but the price is still increasing up!The Chinese Banquets (2-3 people+) meal increases $10+ and the Specials (meals) increase around $3 to $5 compared to few months ago in last year!The food taste is over average, hopefully the price won’t increase again in near future, otherwise hard to afford it!We were regular customers when food prices here were affordable.

I ordered a steak burger and the black bean and beef noodles. It was super delicious! Although there isn't a pic of the burger, it was well presented and tasty. My only suggestion would be a little less tomato sauce. The noodles had a good amount of veggies and beef and the portion size was really good. Definitely recommend

Ordered online at 5.45pm for a 6.30pm pick up. Frustrating waiting for your order when numbers above yours are called!! finally got order at 7.02pm. What is the point of having an online presence and scheduled pick up times when you can't keep to these times? I have no issues with the food it is always top notch, but your customer service is disappointing.
