I have been using the Toyshop to service my Porsches for years. What I love about Trevor & the crew is that they make you feel really welcome, especially as a woman.They have a beautiful, clean workshop & toy lounge, where you can relax & wait for your car whilst having a chat to one of their knowledgeable team. I love that they talk to you in plain English & explain everything to you before they commit to doing anything. They also tell you what it's going to cost, so there are no surprises!Best of all, as a car lover myself, they know their cars or 'toys' & you can chat to them about everything to do with European or British Cars.They love your Porsche or Land Rover or VW etc. as much as you do :)

Great team. Went out of their way to advise me on whether the second hand Land Rover Discovery I was purchasing was a good buy. (It was, I still love it many years later). Then have looked after it ever since and done a brilliant job. Thanks Trevor and team!

We have had 2 premium vehicles repaired by the Toy Shop over the past year and a half and we have always had excellent service. We don’t waste our time with just any mechanic anymore, we prefer a specialist. They know what they’re doing, get the job done and are always on time. Exceptional service! Trevor and Rachelle are great to deal with. Would highly recommend!

Trevor is extremely rude...just a phonecall enquiry was enough to expose his disdain to the general public.Anger management and a holiday is required for Trevor's well-being

Trevor at the Toyshop is awesome, two other places couldn't figure out what was wrong with my Maserati, Trevor had it sussed out within an hour of having the car.

Extremely rude and arrogant swearing at me with total disrespect would never set foot near this place and I wasn't even a customer yet,just because I asked where my car was an he says he knows nothing about it,it was one of his guys that worked on it,where does the owner or anyone treat clients this bad

I have a Discovery 3 and after a bit of research I moved to The Toy Shop a couple of years ago as my previous Land Rover specialist" mechanic didn't know what they were doing (Google did a better job helping me with issues!). Trevor diagnosed and repaired a few issues that had been frustrating me for awhile. My disco is now running as it should and with the Toy Shop servicing it I expect it to run for many more years. I can't recommend Trevor and The Toy Shop enough as they really know what they're doing. If you own a Land Rover

At some time you may have purchased a car from an owner of a garage only to find in haste you should have left it behind the shed doors. Yes it was her .... that women Mercedes and the dealers fussed over it for a year, and it finally stopped running.... In the end it was which junk yard will take it to... and then you find a shop called the TOY SHOP Auckland New Zealand. With some careful attention, a new second hand engine and some imported mags Mercedes lives again, and the TOP SHOP changed a badly handling shopping car into a tight cornering super charged Mercedes ready for some touring.

Trevor, Tim and all of the team at The Toy Shop have just given my RangeRover Sport a full service. I'd just like to say thanks for their awesome work, great attention to detail and honest up front price estimates, these guys clearly love what they do.I'd highly recommend you get your european pride and joy down to them quick smart, and you too can enjoy the same experience. It was a long time ago my father and I went for a ride in my father's friends new Mk 9 Jag and from a very early age always wanted one of the big cats. Admittedly a long time passed but during lockdown I thought its now or never. I sourced a very tidy 2004 XJ8. An AA test was done, few minor things not to worry about however, the head liner did need replacing. The deal was done.Phoned 3 companies, The Toy Shop was the only one to respond, head liner replaced fantastic job.Quite some time later the car started to cut out and go into creep mode always on a left hand turn.So to cut a very long and frustrating story short, not only for me, but also for Trevor and his team, eventually their determination and persistence finally paid off, the car is going really well.I have no hesitation in recommending Trevor and the team.
