Zane Grey's Restaurant and Bar
Was a bit hard to find were to order. We had a lovely lady help show us and seat us at a table and give menu's and explained how things worked. We asked if we could sit outside on the wharf area, that was okay as long as we paid our order first, no worries. Lovely area. Sat outside and meals were brought outside to us very quickly, great meals. Recommend to have meals.

This was our first dinner in Paihia. We really liked it. Drinks were good and food was very nice, full of flavour. Ophely our waitress was very nice and even took some pictures of us. Recommended yo visit.

Zane Grey's Restaurant and Bar
My husband and I had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. Our server, Daisy, was so friendly and gave us her recommendations for dishes and wine. We shared a delicious local white wine from the Bay of Islands. For dinner we started with the green lipped mussels in a coconut curry sauce. For the main, I had the saffron risotto with Peruvian scallops and my husband had the fish of the bay which was king fish. All of the food was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful. For dessert we shared a panna cotta dish and with and chocolate sauces. From the food to the friendly service, our whole experience was perfect, and to top it off our table was right against the large windows with a gorgeous view of the bay. Would highly recommend!

We have enjoyed our dinner tremendously although a quiet night until a big group from the tour organisation joined us in the other room for a bit of noise.The food waa surprisingly fresh and well prepared. I said surprisingly because our dinner last night in Paihia was not so we didn’t expect much tonight.Entrees of mussels and pork belly was delicious. My partner liked his Fish and chips but the star of the night was the Fish of the bay Hapuku. The accompanying vegetables and potatoes were also surprisingly tasty but the fresh piece of fish were perfectly cooked and remained the star of the dish.Our waitress Shaznay was delightful and eager to please.

Zane Grey's Restaurant and Bar
We had a fantastic experience on New Year's eve + Anniversary special dinner. The staff surprised us with a fantastic service and hospitality. The view is gorgeous and the environment is quite cozy and welcoming. We were with our kids we all had a great moment (kudos to the amazing staff). This is our second time and we'll be definitely back. Recommended!

Great atmosphere and seating by the pier. The fish and chips were average but the fresh oysters were great! A bit pricey though

It was a wonderful experience. Our waiter Brooke made it easy to order and she was great with our 3 kids. The kids loved there desserts and looking at the fish tank was fun. Thanks again for a lovely dinner Brooke.

Such a cozy and relaxing spot with the best view in town!Came here for some drinks and a bite to eat. Really great vibes and atmosphere! Went for lunch and came back for dinner! We couldn't resist!

Arrived late, in evening, friendly fast service. Superb greenlipped mussels, Angus cheese burger thrilled my 11 year old 'Great chips'. Highly recommended for ambience and wait service. Even went extra mile and took our photo.
