Spotted the line and jumped in. Well worth the wait although it didn’t actually take that long to be served. Stopped here 2 days in a row it was that good. I’m a vegetarian so was pleasantly surprised when they had a delicious vegetarian pie available! The caramelised onion was a hit. Boyfriend tried a few of the meaty pies and also 100% recommends them. Love supporting locals too. 5/5 for their pies!

Now live locally so drove here specifically for a berry ice cream as 1st time we had was delicious and well worth the money. 2nd time not so, young boy serving could not have cared less. terrible customer service, wasnt interested in what he was serving and ice cream was half size of first time and hardly any berries mainly just white ice cream. not impressed. when I question him on the ice cream he shrugged his shoulders and said well". won't be back and will not recommend."

Paua pie was spot on. Pepper steak and steak and cheese also top notch with perfect homemade flakey pastry. Totally awesome with a great flat white. So good had to back the next day kind of goodness. Grab it on the way too the top and back again! Great service the team there were friendly quick and fun.

This places sells what I reckon the pie north of the Bombay, heck possibly NZ IMO. Nice savoury gravy, chunks of meat and the cheese just oozing out as you bite into your pie. The crust is sooooo good, top and bottom so flaky

Stopped in here by chance in search of a pie shaped snack on our way back from cape reigna and had the best pie I’ve had in NZ! I tried paua for the first time and was not disappointed, and the pastry was super crispy and flaky and delicious. Service was also very friendly - would highly recommend!

Stopped here on my way back from Cape Reinga. Had a nice egg sandwich but the highlight was the little chocolate cake square. It was so good! Especially the chocolate cream (maybe ganache) on top.

The burgers are the best, both the taste and the value.Besides, it saves us in the new year eve when most of the restaurants are closed. Highly recommended.
