Excellent venue for our Rusty Players Orchestra rehearsals. Lovely to have the doors open and play to the onlookers while looking out over the lake and gardens. Lovely setting.

Very good acoustics. Accessible parking. Wheelchair access. A venue that Hamilton is fortunate to have, and located in an attractive setting within the University grounds.

Really nice venue, great building and auditorium. -though you wouldn’t know from the car park -where’s the entrance? oh there it is hidden round the corner past the loading dock! Ha ha but once you find your way in it’s beautiful and functional.

Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts
Great location and beautiful outlook onto the lake while inside. I had my teacher registration ceremony here and it was the perfect place to celebrate it. Lots of parking available too. The theatre inside where we received our awards might have been a little cramped but it was good too. With great company, I want to thank you for such an amazing night! I would highly recommend this place for future celebrations.

As part of Waikato University, the academy building is a beautiful space.Open, warm and built to form.We had our pohiri (welcome) in the auditorium here.Id recommend it as a venue for performances or concerts.
