Really great meal tonight - deliveredThe delivery man was very polite and efficient.The curries were butter chicken, chicken korma and Rogan Josh. They were all delicious - varied flavors and piping hot which isn't always the case with delivered food. Each curry had lots of meat so generous portions. The naan were huge, fresh and delicious, the garlic ones were a little crisp. The rice was the only let down, it wasn't as hot as the curries. Overall a great Indian meal. Delicious!I highly recommended the Malabar Curry Guru

Couldn’t be happier with the food we ordered! My lover and myself had been craving some delicious Indian food since our voyage in the north island. Our man here at Curry Guru is an absolute boss dawg. Never have I ever tasted such succulent chicken. My vegetarian lover was also extremely impressed by the vegetable korma. Also the cheese and garlic naan bread was other worldly. If we were Invercargill locals this would 100 percent be our Sunday delight every week. Much love to the Curry Guru, we’ll never see the likes of you again.

This place is great! The man running the restaurant was so kind to us and offered suggestions for best dishes. He even let us dine in even though they were closing in 20 minutes. We had the lunch special - curry, rice, and a drink for $10. Also ordered some naan. Curry and naan was hot, freshly made and very delicious. Chicken was more tender than the lamb, but both were good. We loved our experience here and would be happy to return again.

Recently I tried one of the new curry restaurants in town and it simply didn’t compare. This is by far the best place in town. My top suggestions would be: Butter Chicken, Jalfrezi, Saagwala, tikka masala, and tandoori. Amazing flavour, and wonderful service. Lunch deal is amazing value too.

I am from Auckland travel down to Invercargill. It is very rare to had good taste of Indian food outside of Auckland.However this store has a proper taste.Highly recommend for Indian Style Butter Chicken. So yummm, a bit spicy, portioned is enough for 2 adults.Nevertheless, chef really surprised me.I’ll give 5 stars.
