You really won't find better than Arlington motors (paint n panel) in Wellington. Professional, assuring, & trustworthy guys. Not the cheapest in town, but very very good.If you need a repairer to take care of your car like it's their own, these are your guys.

Will never go back to this place. Very UNPROFESSIONAL waited for almost a month, lost the first pictures of the dsmage. Did another photo and was not able to get the bumper parts when i called. Decided to use Blairwrights and they were Awesome!

When I complained about their poor workmanship they were extremely rude and lied to my face. There's obvious runs on the door edge (see photos) and something had landed on the paint while it dried, they tried to say the run was normal and the defect where something had touched the wet paint was there before. The door on the other side of the car was misaligned (see photos) and they said it was probably like that before the accident (it wasn't).When I got my car back the wheel that was hit was off camber and pushed back by over 1cm and they only decided to replace the shock when I pointed this out to them. They added tons of weight onto the wheel and said it was balanced better than before (rather than replacing it). They then said the weight was there before and pointed to an line of tape where old weight had been removed stating that that was the old line. Considering the entire rim was painted as part of the repair this was an obvious lie and the most likely reason for the old tape was they needed to move the weight as it didn't balance out properly the first time they tried. The molding on the window trip was warped where they had pulled it off to paint, to my surprise actually admitted this was their problem, but only by not commenting back to me.Don't trust these guys, they used to have a very good name but their recent workmanship is poor and they get extremely rude and confrontational when you try and complain.

They are the very best panel work entity in Wellington - masters of their trade, handle customers with professionalism. Their workmanship is second to none. If you want quality work, I will strongly recommend this workshop for you.

Brought my car here several times and every time something goes wrong. First time the passenger door wouldn't open- they had forgotten to re-attach the opening mechanism. The second time the paint started blistering in a couple of weeks- at first they accused me of having a second accident despite it being obvious there was no other damage and being in a secure car park. They did put it right but when it went back for its repaint they caused damage to a plastic part inside the vehicle which I didnt notice for a few days after picking it up. They have replaced this now. I definitely wouldn't recommend, based on my experience with Arlington Motors. Will be taking my car elsewhere from now on.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. Our experience with Arlington motors has easily been the worst interaction I have had with any service provider of any kind. For context, our stationary car was hit by another car in a parking lot and needed a corner panel and a bumper repaired. They completed the repairs and cut an entirely unnecessary hole in the bumper, to which they admitted fault and agreed to replace. The hole appeared to be cut with a bread knife as the photo illustrates. The replacement part was ordered from overseas with a lead time of 4-6 weeks. This was in July 2021.We had nothing in the way of updates from Arlington, and we had to call them to see where part was. We were told multiple times that it hadn't arrived.2 days ago (09/11/21) I rang and was insistent on getting an answer. They initially claimed their system had 'frozen' and asked to call me back, to which I told them I would wait on the line for the system to reboot. They then told me that the part had indeed arrived, and had been there since some time in October (they would not tell me exactly when). We then agreed a time to have the new part installed, which happened today. When Trevor called to inform me the work was done and that I could pick up the part, the owner told me that they had to cut another hole in the bumper, and that there was 'always a hole on the back of the bumper' I disagreed, and had photos illustrating that originally this was the case (see below). He then became agitated and told me 'well f*ck you', and hung up the phone.I rang back immediately and advised him that his behavior was unprofessional at best, and he continued to swear at me.Upon picking up my car he continued to deflect blame and insist that a hole had always been there.Arlington motors is an entirely dysfunctional business that I would not recommend to anyone. To be sworn at repeatedly by the manager (Trevor Davies) for contesting the state of our own vehicle is outrageous and an embarrassment to the organization.Avoid at all costs.
