Quite disappointed on the customer service side. The cut took 20 minutes including a quick wash and I was overcharged (I found out after I left that the price for wash and cut is $55, as stated on the website, but I was charged $60). Cut was ok but it feels like a rip off and quite a dishonest treatment for a new customer. Note - I asked the barber for his advice and haven't asked for anything 'unusual' that could have justified the price difference. There are plenty of other places in Auckland where you can get the same quality at that price or less.

I've entrusted Hanan & Jay with keeping me looking sharp for 9 years now, and couldn't think of going anywhere else to get my hair cut.This would have to be one of Auckland's premier grooming lounges.Highly recommend.

Went here for a hair cut and beard trim. Thought it was a little pricey at first. But hey good things don't come cheap.

Was recommended this barber by a family member and told to put all my trust in Jay. Couldn’t be anymore happy. Very cool barber shop and interior. Jay was very welcoming and we got along great with great conversation. He gave his advice about my individual situation, and I let him style my hair how he thought would look good on me, and it’s my best haircut ever. Definitely coming back again for my next cut. 5/5

First time here and will be my new local. Honestly best hair and beard cut I've ever had. Always sketchy choosing a new groomer but Paul is a pro. Great tunes as well. Cheers lads.

I returned to Room 104 after a few years' absence (due to location). Haircut was the best I've had since the last time I was there. Great to reconnect with Jay and see the team still going strong. Such a great environment and excellent styling. If you're looking to get your haircut in Auckland, this is THE place to go. Professional, yet relaxed. Cheers lads. See you next time.
