This is the central point just outside of the town centre that hosts the wild foods festival. A lot of folks use it as excuse to dress up in very wild ways! Ordinarily it is a play park with a concrete outside that you can cycle safely around with the little dots. There is a skate park in one corner that is well used by locals. There is a small playground with swings drinking fountains. The toilets are very basic and sit under the grandstand.

I took my family to the Wild Foods Festival at Cass Park. Great proximity to town neat venue toilets and a skatepark for the kids

feild is rather wet ...and lots of sharp plastic buried from the Wild Foods parties ..not good to play football or other team sports as can easy get cut by the just under the surface sharp plactic from throw away plactic cups .

Great place, playground needs updating along with the skate park. Children all still love it for a place to let off some energy
