If you're in Kaikoura and need building supplies, this is the place. Also has Wattyl paints if you need them.

Need to put a bomb under their arses. They could do a lot better with some effortand enthusiasm

Purchased a couple of fence palings

This place has really detoriated. We went their last week and no one came out to the yard to serve us, i even asked an indian person who said they were busy and would be out soon. He never came back and we were ignored by every other person walking thru the yard. We left and came back 1 hour later...someone had dumped a whole lot of pellets in front of the compost bins so we couldn't get any, and the inside of the drive thru had no mortar bags or much of anything, there were piles of broken bags on top of some old jib board...we left! What a dump! We will wait until our next visit to chch or blenheim and go to Mitre10! Overall ITM is very shabby, poory stocked and their treated outside timber is mostly bent and shoddy! Look forward to no service whatsoever .
