Lamb curry pie is exceptional. Pastry light and puffy. They have a massive selection, its hard to choose they all look so dame good. I reakon they have the biggest range and selection on the coast (big pie&quality filling). 5 star+ for me. The baker is really good at his job & is a friendly dude!

Pies are so yummy here. Pastry is so good and buttery, big pies & top quality meats.Service here is always really good, quick & friendly. I come back all the time for those mince & cheese pies & homemade slices.Best on the coast by far!

Couple who run this business are very warm hearted, hard working and really make an effort to build great relationships with their customers. They are very well known for their popular different flavoured pies (the Mexican pie is a favourite which tends to run out fast before 10.30am every time I pop in through out the week day or weekend). They make the best chocolate donuts! It’s always so fresh and soft (it’s not too sweet either like the usual donuts you’d get, just how I like it). I really appreciate this family owned business. Great quality of food, excellent service and the price range is within market (very affordable). Hands down, this is the best bakery on the coast!

We think Peninsula Bakery is the best bakery, as with our work we go between the Far North and the Taranaki region. We often get bakery there and we think they have the best!!! Pies the filling are always so nice and full and so delicious, from there seafood chowder, lamb curry, chicken cranberry, mince and cheese, steak cheese and pepper pies. ALL their pies are truly delicious, their pastry is really nice, simply beautifully tasting. We also love their custard doughnuts, jam doughnuts, apple turnovers with cream and their slices are absolutely delicious as well, and we can’t wait to visit Peninsula Bakery again. It's so hard to chose what to buy as all their food is that good. Thank you for baking such delicious high quality tasting food.

Best chocolate lamingtons & coffee cream donuts! Also really friendly service. Would give 5 stars but the EFTPOS machine doesn't work with Australian debit cards so I have to get cash out (which is inconvenient).
