I had read many of the positive reviews and was looking forward to getting my haircut here. Unfortunately, my experience was very negative. I arranged an appointment by phone but when I showed up there was no record of my booking. Mistakes do happen, and I was still keen to try them out based on reviews, so I booked another appointment a couple of months later, this time through Facebook. On arrival I was informed that I had cancelled my own appointment by email which was not true. I asked to see the email address that had cancelled my booking and was shown a random address that had no connection with me. If there had been any attempt to accommodate me or rearrange an appointment for the future I wouldn't have minded their mix-up, but I found the owner to be extremely rude and unhelpful and unapologetic. I rarely post reviews but I was so disappointed by the customer service I received during both my visits here that I feel obliged to inform others that this place is not all that their review section makes them out to be. I will be taking my business elsewhere in future.

If Barry wasn't cutting my hair I would be irredeemably ugly. If he were a sculptor he would take clay and mold it into works of art, but luckily for us he can turn the average kiwi bogan into a masterpiece, all with top notch banter and at a reasonable price.

Everything you want from a professional business, known Barry for 13 years and never disappoints. Always on-time, always welcoming and always going to be my barber. Highly recommend and a privilege to have him in my hometown. A++++++++++++++++++++

Got a haircut from Barry the other day, his inputs were excellent before we started and he didn't simply take my money and give me a haircut - he really participated throughout and made sure I got what I was looking for. His attention to detail and involvement in the process was brilliant. Excellent chatting and getting to know him as well - even though I usually prefer my barbers silent :))) I'm definitely going again. Make sure you book in advance.

Barry is the best barber in town and is appointment only. Make sure you're on time for your appointment, as given the additional COVID-19 restrictions and hygiene standards, Barry has allocated enough time to cut and style your hair, while then carrying our the additional wipe down and sanitiser requirements in between each customer. Thanks for always being professional, an excellent attention to detail, highly customer-focussed and being an exceptional business leader! I would highly recommend Fox Kennedy!

Best barbers around. After the great cut that I got (including a wash/rinse and styling) I really expected and was willing to pay a premium price... And was blown away by how reasonable their prices were when I went to pay!- Great, friendly, and funny staff- Unbeatable prices- Good atmosphere

Barry is one legit barber, always dependable, amazing job every time. Be sure to book well in advance though as he never has same day appointments.
