Staff were fantastic. My one complaint as an owner of a horse and poor mobility is that there is no lift in the building, to access lounges etc., only huge amounts of stairs. Would be a great advantage to staff also with lifting heavy bottles etc

On the grandstands, broken boards on the ground with rusty nails sticking up out of them... broken seats with nails sticking out also. Netting on the back of the grandstand with massive holes cut in it and not fixed. Pegs for sound marquee without covers, saw at least 2 kids trip over them. And electrical cords running absolutely everywhere with a cable cover every 15 or so meters, bit more of a token gesture, rather than a safety thing. Picnic tables stacked dangerously high right where people walk past. Needs a good visit from worksafe. I think people are aware you have an aging facility.... but that's no excuse to not spend a pretty small fraction of ticket sales on improving safety a bit. 90% of the safety issues above could be fixed for the cost of someone's time to go and tidy things up a bit. Only a few things require materials and a skilled worker to fix. I hope you guys are not paying a health and safety officer.... if so, I suggest you go shopping for a new one.

We went there on after the flood. The HUHA animal shelter was house there, and we went to walk the dogs.

Brilliant fun day. Very reasonable entrance cost.. Family friendly.

Went to see Harley motorbikes about 300 of them they then left for a country rally down Waipukurau way
