Hassle-free rental and very friendly staff. They use technology to document the rental procedures so we were essentially spared from all the paperwork and documentation. The car (Toyota Corolla) was very clean and in good working condition when we picked it up too.Will definitely rent from Snap Rentals again if we get a chance to visit New Zealand again next time.

Snap rentals Queenstown had reasonable prices compared to other rental companies. I saw some reviews of other cheaper rentals, it seems they had some compromises. Snap rental seems to have not much compromise other than you use their free shuttle from/to the airport. The car itself was cleaned out and the staff was friendly and quick.

Hired a car for a few days while in Queenstown. Car was clean, reliable, and staff were super friendly. Free shuttle to and from airport was also provided which was great. Pricing was also exceptional and well within budget. Overall a really great experience and would highly recommend!

I recently had the misfortune of renting a car from Snap Rentals, and I must say that it was a truly terrible experience. First of all they took ages to pick my family from the airport. With two small kids in this winter time my family struggled a lot to get the shuttle. From the moment I picked up the vehicle until I returned it, everything seemed to go wrong. I feel compelled to share my ordeal to warn others about the nightmare that awaits them if they choose this particular car rental company.Their lack of communication and organization was truly baffling. It felt like they had no regard for customer satisfaction.Within hours of driving it, I noticed strange noises coming from the right rear side of the car and a persistent rattling sound. It was a nerve-wracking experience that put my trust in their fleet to the test.Furthermore, the customer service was atrocious. I was met with indifference and apathy. The staff seemed uninterested in my concerns and made no effort to address the situation promptly. It was evident that their focus was solely on taking my money, rather than ensuring customer satisfaction.Finally, during the return process, I encountered more incompetence. Despite returning the car on time, I did fill the full tank but when I reached the dropping point it was showing 7/8 fuel and I had no time to get it filled again. or just for one less fuel point I didn't do it intentionally and later they charge $40.47(Fuel Filling Fee ($25) from my credit card. I am happy to pay $12.60 for a full tank but the Fuel Filling Fee ($25) is really painful. It was a blatant attempt to squeeze more money out of me, and it left a sour taste in my mouth.In conclusion, my experience with Snap Rentals was a complete disaster from start to finish. The lack of professionalism, unreliable vehicle, and abysmal customer service made this car rental experience one I would never want to repeat. I strongly advise anyone considering renting from this company to look elsewhere for a more reputable and reliable option.

Really easy to deal with. Super friendly at collection and very affordable. Car was clean, kids car seats in good condition and car in general was easy to drive. Shuttle to and from airport was easy. Would definitely rent with Snap again.

This company is a scam! Do not use them. I paid for full insurance including AA coverage on a rental car last month, but when the car battery needed to be replaced I was told by an AA representative on the phone that the plan was not active. After I was unable to reach the Snap office for hours, even though it was during the business day, I paid to replace the battery myself. Snap eventually assured me multiple times that they would be able to reimburse me through a refund. Over two weeks have passed, and the only development is that an unidentified third party is reaching out to me asking for my bank details over email to issue the refund. If that's not asking for a scam, I don't know what is. Don't waste your time with Snap, there's many other choices out there.

A cheap place with cheap bad cars and worse customer service that's rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. We opted for the biggest SUV they had and they have us an old base model, totally scratched and smelly.On top of that, they'll come up with any excuse to squeeze some cents out of you in a way I can repeat in here without getting my account banned and don't care about it. The costumer service in there are the worst.Stay away from them.

The rental is reasonably pricedThe rental is reasonably priced. The counter staff was very friendly and fast responsive. We got a new model little blue Corolla, loved it! The car was spotlessly clean and easy to drive. Returning was smooth. The airport shuttle arrived 5 minutes after we returned the car. Highly recommend this company.

The car pick up was late due to some issues and this was the least of our concern.We were provided insurance options n given we were driving to mount cook and Milford we decided to opt for the full insurance. As soon as we choose the full insurance we were provided with a rather scratched and dented car. Just to put in perspective we had not opted for the cheapest car we had opted for a mid size car.the car we were offered was scratched , poor interiors and poorly functioning wiper blades and brakes. I had to come back on the first day to get floor mats so that my foot doesn’t slip on the car floor. Overall staff is friendly and hence the one start. But overall old fleet and would recommend to opt for a car segment premium hatchback or above.
