Tairua-Pauanui Pharmacy

I think the lady pharmacist in charge on Anniversary weekend was the rudest person I have ever met. She obviously didn't want to be at work that day and she was marginally better the next day. I was not the only person to experience this unfriendly service.

For a small Beachside Community this Pharmacy is an innovative and fabulous asset. I got sick at Easter, no Doctors on duty, and with many roads still unreliable at best, being able to go to the Pharmacy for an online Doctors Consultation and a prescription emailed to the Pharmacy, I was able to head home to Pauanui and recover, rather than suffering for the long weekend and trying to get a doctor's appointment the following week. The service the Pharmacy provides the people of Tairua, Pauanui, and surrounding areas is invaluable. In addition, it is a great place to shop the abundance of pharmacy products and beautiful gifts.Andi and her Team provide a valuable service to our community.Heather Gregory

I got sick on New Year's Eve when no regular doctors were open. I arrived just after 10am on what was a very busy day. Andi has set up a great online service that puts her customers into an online consultation with a doctor who then sends any prescription straight to the pharmacy. I was back on the road at 11am with a bagful of pills and an informed diagnosis. Brilliant service and a smart use of technology !

My all time favourite pharmacy which has pretty much everything! Great place for your prescriptions, vaccinations and buying random stuff. Their Boody range is addictive! I always stop by whenever I’m in Tairua!

Like all small town pharmacies we’ve shopped at in NZ, the selection is adequate but just a bit limited. But, staff was helpful and we got the essentials.
