Bought fish and chips last night. Fish was nice. The chips were were awful. Were not a nice golden yellow. Dark brown and saturated in oil. Could not eat them. Oil was old . Pay you to change the oil regularly. For that reason will not go back.

Beauty feed decent size fish n shellfish. They ain't tight with there portions. I've commercially and recreationally fished all my life and I know fresh fish from rubbish the feeds here are on point.

Very good food and very nice quality ingredients. Staff seemed a little stressed to say the least but I suppose that’s a kitchen for you.Great food I would recommend!

Food was nice and fresh and made with good quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and the menu provided gluten-free options. I was a walk in customer and I didn’t need to wait very long for my food to be prepared. Will definitely here again if I’m back in Nelson.

Friendly guy and the service was great... but unfortunately the food was only average. The chips were very reheated and most went in the bin as they were teeth breakers. The fish was wet and saturated in oil. Maybe it was just a bad day as the food we had on our previous visit was excellent.

Food was delicious. Seafood pizza was 10/10 as was the lightly battered shellfish. Not overly fatty like most places. Anyone complaining about the staff service obvs havnt worked in hospitality or QSR. The staff here were polite and did their job. That’s all I ask from someone who has to talk to the general public all day. Well done to you all, I’ll be back.
