Food is good. Steak is well seasoned with fries and grilled chicken wrap has good portion and taste. Price is reasonable.

I have traveled the world eating burgers but this one, us the best we had so far. We ordered the Beef Burger and it was the BEST burger ever, cheesy beef and fresh lettuce. I also recommend adding chips to your burger, it was lightly salted and crispy. And %100 delicious.

Absolutely delicious. Lovely place to enjoy lunch. Beef burger and brisket was cooked to perfection. We did want to try the deep fried schnitzel but it was sold out… next time!!

If you are a food lover, and a meat preacher - this is absolutely the place for you. Had a sandwich in the amazing Turkish bread, my husband had the brisket in a plate, every bite in this meal was beyond amazing. Highly recommend, very high quality food and meat in a very reasonable price! Would for sure come back!

Smoked brisket with potatoes was great! It was a nice find on our drive from mountain walk to hotel. No issues with parking too. Nice and easy.

I found this place online and sifted through the Reviews. It did not disappoint. This was our last meal in Queenstown before departing to our next South Island destination. Our family had the steak & fries, burger, brisket and pulled pork. Simple but very good. Brisket is tender We paid just over NZD80 for 4 mains. Portions were good. 2 guys behind the counter. Would recommend this place to others for simple good food.

Addendum: Today again been there for lunch. Was informed that you can also sit outside with backrest (Oops, read my post?).Veggie burger was good and the sandwich with sausage exceptionally good.Food was even brought out.Okay, I'm correcting to 5* for sunny days and 4* for rainy days. But today the sun was shining ☀️.Nicer seating inside would still be a good investment - I'll stick with that.************************************************I had only a small children's burger and that was already fantastic. I can only imagine how awesome the lunch with meat grilled on wood fire must be. Other burger places can learn a thing or two from this. 5*The team is so personable. You know them only 5 minutes and you would already invite them to your home, for example for a garden barbecue. 5*But the ambience...I first thought we were sitting at the children's table.Then I saw that all the tables were like this.I don't expect much, but a backrest is the least I need to relax during eating. Here there are only small stools. That's why I didn't go back in the evening. What a waste of potential! 2*Good to know:There are two menus. Lunch is quite cheap, available until 4 pm.Meat made on charcoal is available only from 5 pm.

Unassuming place with truly great food. We had beef brisket (brilliant, very soft and tender) and beef burger (could be customized beyond their advertised menu,2 parties can do), the best we had so far in New Zealand. Waiting time is alright. I can honestly recommend this place. Plenty of parking space outside.

Ordered a Beef Burger and Pulled Pork Burger. Burgers were of generous size given they were about $20 each. Overall a great lunch experience.
