Yogiji's Food Mart
This is fabulous place to buy bulk foods like rice, flours, nuts, all sorts of legumes including all the Indian ones of course, spices, etc. Approximately half the price of mainstream supermarket packages. Gopala yogurt cheap in large container too. There is tons and tons of packaged Indian foods as well like snack foods, spices, jars and cans, huge selection of frozen foods. But I don't buy anything in a bag, box, or can so I go mainly for the dry goods in bulk. Also a bottle of sesame oil. Big selection and savings. And lots of friendly staff working there too. Can't ask for more. Except, I remember their fresh produce being very good prices a few years ago, but not anymore, too expensive now. All I could buy was a giant cabbage for $3.00. I'm not Indian by the way, one of the very few customers who isn't.

Located closer to City Center, this Indian grocery store in one of the biggest I have seen so far in Christchurch. The store has all the grocery essential one needs. Along with utensils and veggies. Plenty of Parking spaces and off street parking. Must visit for all the Indian or any Asian looks for species

Went to Yogiji’s Food Mart in Christchurch, it’s a really nice Indian Supermarket. Has lots of items and lots of varieties of stuff. Happy to have a supermarket like this in New Zealand.

Yogiji's Food Mart
A place to buy Indian, Sri Lankan food in chch. We are regular customers of them. Parking spaces for about 10 cars. Like the new place. Can buy all kind of spices and fresh and frozen vegetables and readymade parata, naan and samosas. Cheaper than some other places. Kind service by most of sales crew. Last visit we got 2 bottles of shampoo mistakenly we took them out without billing. One sales person shorted it out very kindly. Thank you for your services.

This indian store (Yogiji food mart) is one of the best stor you can buy lost of things in a really good price cheaper than other places I really like to do shopping here the staff are really friendly, really helping when you need .You can find dry fruits fresh fruits milk good quality milk in really good price ... wawwwwww.

VERY DISAPPOINTED & SELLING EXPIRED PRODUCTSI thought I can trust this store but I don't know if Yogiji is selling expired products and fooling customers.will never go again.I just bought this bhakharwadi a week back and they mentioned the expiry date “use by 16th june 2023 when i opened this it has fungus on it you can see in attached photo.Do not recommend and please check the products especially the food when you buy from Yogiji

I will give them 0 star if there will be option for it. One of the worst Indian grocery store. Forget about the prices for everything( half of the stuff don’t even have a price on it. Service is like very bad. I spent nearly $80. I asked the girl on checkout. If i could use a box to take the stuff. She said we don’t have any. I told her how you want me to carry the stuff she just looked at me and completely ignored me. I looked like a fool did not know how to carry all the stuff. If you are not providing bags at least have a sign for customers to bring their own bag. I am really disappointed with what happened to me today. I will never come back to this store.

It is an average shopping experience. The most common choice among Indians and Sri Lankans I guess for their local groceries. Usually when ever I visit there, 1 cashier only functioned. Parking space would be an issue, it is usual as many shop there. They have introduced a self checkout. If u buy spices, u have to select spices as the item. A-K or L-Z. Felt a bit annoying. A search option would have been better. To buy 3 masala tea there was no option to add. Had to press the same button,3 times.

This Indian grocery store is outstanding! Wide selection, knowledgeable staff, fresh produce, and great prices. Highly recommend!
