Had a really good time in the bush with Markus. Shooting arrows at the targets was so much fun, bonus is that he took a bunch of cool photos of us as we did it to have as keepsakes. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get out in the bush or shoot some foam dragons!

Overall awesome experience. I'm no archer but still and a great time. Some archery experience is good but not essential as the course can be made easier or more difficult to account for your skill. A bit pricey but It's a solid 4 hours of adventure entertainment so great value for money. Guides were super friendly and supportive, they also sent us some photos after which was a nice touch. A level of fitness is required but if you can walk a km or two on gravel, and have some upper body strength you'll be fine. Bring your parents but probably not grandma. Would highly recommend, this was one of the highlights of our Nelson trip!

Fantastic self-guided 3D dragon hunt experience. The day began with a lesson on the archery range with the friendly and extremely knowledgeable Markus and Zoe. With 8 people in the group, we were all given individual tips and advice. Markus was hilarious and made the more boring (but still essential) parts interesting, such as the safety briefing. We were well prepared by Zoe and Markus to head off into the bush unguided, but we underestimated the difficulty of the bush hike – we almost got lost a few times as the path is not very well sign-posted! Overall a fantastic experience in the bush, made all the more enjoyable by Markus and Zoe sharing their expertise beforehand. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely do again next time we are in Nelson!

Really good experience! Getting the chance to learn and warm up with the bow on targets before taking to the bush was perfect! Left having had a great time with many laughs and a new passion for archery!Thanks Marcus!

I would reccomend to any archer regarless of experience to visit Marcus at Archery Park for great advice and purchasing of equipment.My Barepaw Creed bow has just turned up and everything in the photo came from Archery Park.Cant wait to get to the range now....

Had a great time at the Dragon Hunt Archery Experience. The instructors were very knowledgeable and helps me get my techniques right while on the training archery range, before then heading out on a lovely bush walk to the dragon hunt. It was so nice and refreshing being able to do archery in the bush setting instead of just on the target range.I would highly recommend this experience.

My husband took me here for a day full of adventure and learning something new! I struggled a little from a recovering rib injury but the guides worked with me, they were incredibly knowledgable and patient. It wasn't just target practice but a hike with fun stories, education and targets in the bush! It was so much fun and satisfying to learn and put into practice. Great gift of time with your loved ones! We will be back and getting our own bows.

11/10 ! My partner and I had a blast at Archery Park learning how to shoot arrows and then hunting dragons in the forest. From our safety brief and basic training to explaining finer points and details about archery, Markus had our whole group ready to slay dragons in no time. We went from rookies to feeling like robin hood AND he took photos of our group throughout the whole experience and sent them to us for free - what a legend! I can't recommend this place enough : )

This is a MUST DO activity for the family or group of friends when in Nelson. We did the Dragon Hunt with our expert guide Markus who had all of us up and running first on the practice range then into the bush hunting down those pesky pests, and the Dragon! Even if you haven't picked up a bow before, this is a fun activity all ages can enjoy, and get to see some other parts of NZ you perhaps normally wouldn't. It truly was a memorable afternoon, thank you Markus for sharing this with us.

Marcus was brilliant!Gave to us the enough tips to improve a lot in only 4 hours!Also he always keeped and eye on us doing little adjustment our technique (PS: The picture that he took were amasing!)
