Waiheke Freight

A rip off company that underestimates and overcharges. Their tactic is to ring on the day of the move, abuse the customer and say there's more stuff to be moved than their estimated for, and then overcharge. We were overcharged $1,000 by these rip off artists and we literally had no extra items. We are not the only people that this has happened to. DO NOT USE

Extremely professional, reliable and friendly service from Waiheke movers. They have been exceptional value as the team they use are super quick. I have used them twice to shift on Waiheke and both times have been fantastic. Thanks for making the stressful task of moving easy.

WARNINGThis company is a nightmare.You use them at your own risk.From changing my quote from Km’s to time taken for the job, no communication, no responsibility for broken items, mickey mouse organisation, double booking, failure to shrink wrap and pack items specified, rude, charging more than on the quote, and then handing the invoice to a finance company so they didn’t have any responsibility to be taken to small claims or answer to the nightmare move.Splitting my move to two separate days without my agreement, discussing my move with new vendors and giving them keys to my house before final settlement.Leaving my household items on a driveway from 9am to 6pm without any protection.Forgetting to pack some things.Not turning up until 3pm, when they had been expected at 8am.Packing for 2 hours and then leaving truck in driveway and promises of finishing the next day and moving my stuff a day later tban booked.Smashed and broken items they took no responsibility for but items that should have been packed and bubble wrapped but weren’t.Unloading had to be supervised by me and mickey mouse, 1 guy doing all the work while the other just talked.Unloading without any care and shoving garden tools around antique furniture.Job was booked for a full day with biggest truck to Warkworth. I changed address to Morrin Rd Auckland and got two trucks with ferry rates for two instead of one. Also charged $777 more than quote despite the quote saying 55cm3 and it was only 41cm3 and not to Warkworth but to Auckland snd only a few km’s from the ferry terminal.Use them at your own risk.Rude, dishonest and uncommunicative, no responsibility for stuff ups and broken items.

Have used Waiheke Movers several times now and found them excellent to deal with. Very accommodating, nothing a bother, plenty of communications about pickup and delivery. Hard working guys. Highly recommend.

It is a pleasure to do business with a local service provider, especially when you live on an island and can't access the mainland for easy collection of goods. Waiheke Freight gets my vote for friendly, timely, and cost effective service. Highly recommend them for transport across the Hauraki Gulf.

Wow! What an awesome team, they moved my extremely heavy piano up some very steep stairs with great care and efficiency. Really impressed with the way they worked together and took care of something so precious.Prompt, quick and careful.Thanks guys!

Three great young guys dropped of our couch this morning, it didn't fit in the front door, no problem, it didn't fit in the back door. No problem... got it in through a window. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thanks guys!!

Dodgy Movers:I agree with previous reviews.I was given a quote to move 3 beds which I accepted - offer & acceptance constitutes a contract.I provided the manufacturers dimensions for the beds so that freight could be calculated in order to provide a quote.I was then sent an invoice for a greater amount - different measurements for the beds.Then we were told we never gave them the measurements.DO NOT USE.

Great people to deal with. Really efficient, no time wasted at all. They were careful and respectful with my house move. Would highly recommend.
