Raetihi Lodge

We stayed at the Raetihi Lodge one night and really loved the place and the people. We have been warmly welcomed by the owner at the pier and had a nice introduction into the lodge facilities and services. The romm was spacious and had a very tasteful decoration. The staff is very friendly, well trained and knows about their stuff. All this together crests a unique atmosphere at the lodge. Not to forget to mention the excellent food. Overall an excellent experience. We can highly recommend to stay there. BTW impressive views on the Milky Way during the night. We would love to come and stay longer.

We can highly recommend Raetihi Lodge, excellent food and accommodation, lots of common areas to hang out in and plenty to do whether it is sunny or not. We will definitely book again in the future.

Our stay at Raetihi could not have been better. Alan and Liane are fantastic hosts, the staff is really friendly, the food is very good, and Julie the masseuse is the best. The accomodation feels spacious, clean, and tidy and the whole place is a little slice of paradise in a stunning location. We loved the many opportunities for swimming, kayaking and bike riding. This was my third visit to the Lodge, and I will definitely be back!

This was undoubtedly the very best holiday we have had either overseas or in New Zealand. Lianne and Alan are perfect hosts. We were made to feel special and and welcome at every moment. The service was impeccable, the staff were friendly and skilled in their jobs. The accommodation and location was superb. We can't wait to return.

Lovely people ,place and food. On return to normal we felt rested from a holiday that was the best we have ever experienced.Food was perfect and staff so friendly and pleasant. Nice informal atmosphere while perfect service and meals appeared before us.Activities were well laid out on a map with all equipment provided.

Such a beautiful place. Well worth a trip. Amazing service, incredible environment, and one of the best eggs on toast I've had (PS I'm a chef). Very reasonably priced menu makes it great value. I'd go again.

Raetihi Lodge is just a beautiful spot for lunch or dinner. Great menu with fresh and interesting meals all beautifully served by very friendly staff. A great place to relax for a few hours and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings and views out to the water in Kenepuru Sound.

Enjoyed the perfect escape from everyday life. Extensive refurbishments in 2014/2015. Seaview room, with its own deck, was perfect for soaking up the atmosphere. The restaurant offered quality meals using fresh produce. Was able to relax in the lounge in front of the fire after being indulged with a luxurious massage.

Visited here for lunch today and couldn’t recommend enough! Such a beautiful view of the sounds from whilst enjoying a beautiful lunch and the owners are so incredibly kind and friendly. 10/10
