After a terrible experience before with Fantail, i have been to this guy Manesh from Sports First. He has vast knowledge about the bats in and out. I have repaired by old bat and did a facing with a toe guard protection for my new bat as well. Any day I would strongly suggest anyone to go and avail the services. He isn't cheap in his pricing but worth for the money. Quality is the key I reckon. Completely satisfied with his work done. One suggestion is that communication was lacking as I understand the Covid times could affect their working hours so couldn't get hold of them in the middle. Giving a five star as that he can maintain his good work in the future too.

Ordered cricket bag on line and very prompt reply to advise they didn't have the product available with options of other bags that we could go to instead. Products recommended identical to what we had ordered and promptly processed and on its way, would recommend this company for service, prompt deliver and helpfulness. Visited them today to check if they can do bat facing and sticker removal, they gave me a number which I felt really expensive for small piece of work, the owner Manish's comment 'Why don't you do it by your self' mate you don't say what a customer should do. If you can't do say politely. And the bat facing you sell for $10 can't convert a full face of the bat, think of your self if you buy that product. I did recommended loads of my friends last season I will tell everyone not to visit you. Be polite and have a smiley face hard to earn customers you will understand.

Great shop with friendly knowledgeable staff. Completely kitted out my son for his first season of hardball cricket. I purchased a bat for him as well and the job the team at Sports First did seasoning the willow made it the best conditioned bat I’ve seen. You can go to the big stores but it’s unlikely they will offer you this level of support, care and attention. Well done!

keep coming back for my hockey needs. Brought 2 sticks (princess and Brabo) and some other gear. Sticks are always good value and great quality. Not your usually NZ brands but I would honestly say better.Staff always nice and have asmall spot for you to try stick before you buy.

I have now bought 2 bats from Sports First. Fantastic product, and delivered ahead of time. I also received a much better level of service here than i have at cricket express. i felt much more respected and more time and attention to detail was given to my needs. All round a very good experience.
