Absolutely in love with my hair and service provided by Rodney Wayne North West! I’ve got naturally black hair and the owner sat down with me for a consult to try and figure out the best style/colour for my hair. We decided on highlights and typically I’m super nervous to get my hair died but it turned out absolutely beautiful! Getting lots and lots of compliments. Highly recommend!

Don't trust the Rodney Wayne online booking system. It is not working properly. We made an online reservation but when we turned up at the appointed time, there was no record of the reservation in their system, even though we received a confirmation when we made the original booking online. We were advised that this wasn't the first time it had happened. :-(

I booked in at 9am. Paid a deposit to ensure I would come at 9am. Then 1 hour before my appt the stylist EMAILED me to change the time. Only 1 hour notice, how ridiculous to not call! I wasted 20 minutes of my time driving out of my way to get to the appt only to not be able to get my haircut as i didn't check my email right before i left home (nevermind the confirmation of the booking that i ensured i had yesterday). Absolutely shocking. I am so disappointed. I'm an insanely busy mom whose husband is overseas for 2 months and I found a 1 hour gap in my day to get a haircut, paid for a sitter who could only stay until 10:30. What a waste of time that I don't actually have and a waste of my money.

Had my first cut with Abhi today and it is the best service I have had in a very long time. Kind and patient but so professional and he knows what he is doing. Talented and knows how to style hair to make you feel good when you leave the salon. I am a converted regular client.

HORRENDOUS! I paid over $300 for the worst hair cut and color of my life and I’m still paying the consequences now. Don’t recommend going to this salon. Went here and told the stylist that I wanted lived in blonde and even showed a photo of my self which showed the color I wanted from a cut and color I had previously and said it was “exactly how I wanted my hair done”. Ended up with a color nothing like it which was brassy, the color wasn’t even blended into my roots nicely and had a harsh line where my natural color and where the “blonde” met, even when I made it very clear I wanted it as blended as possible for easy grow out, it just looked like it was slapped on there. I had small amounts of previous blonde at the ends of my hair so the stylist only put the bleach on the upper half of my hair and it ended up coming out lighter than the ends of my hair and my hair is naturally quite dark so was very noticeable. I’m not made of money and couldn’t afford to get it fixed, they didn’t offer to fix it for me complimentary even though it was their mess up. So ended up just box dying over the top of it to get it back to my natural color. Also had a friend that went here (I learnt this after I had been to my appointment) and had a very similar experience to me, if only I had known that sooner. If I could give this place a 0 star I would have.

I feel brand new!! The stylist listened to what I wanted and worked with the hair I had, giving me professional advice and options to suit. Exceptional service!! Well worth the consult, and prices were up front, so you get to decide if it's within your price range. Thank you to the team at North West. Awesome job!!

I naturally have curly hair but did not know how to take care of it. The Hair Stylist (not sure of his name, he had glasses I'm so sorry!) Cut my hair in a way so that it would look nice naturally. I was pleasantly surprised as some Stylists in the past would default to straightening (I never straighten my hair). He let me know what I was doing wrong in my hair routine and gave some tips on how to look after curls which I am so grateful for! The team are lovely also. Would recommend
