Rahui Coastal Loop

We had a fabulous day cycling the Rahui Coastal Loop!I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a bit of adventure.We are a group of enthusiastic cyclists (over 50 yrs / ebike and non ebike). All of us enjoyed the ride and the challenge it provided.Lucinda absolutely made it a trip to remember. Her organisational skills (before, during and after the ride) were exceptional and she went out of her way to make it a fantastic experience.We especially enjoyed the varied and interesting trail over farmland, through bush and along the coast. The yummy lunch at the cottage, chat and garden tour to break up the day were just another highlight.Thank you Lucinda!

Lucinda was a star.The 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed immensely our 3 days cycling on primarily classic back country farm tracks and trails with few people around.The prepped meals provided were hearty and tasty with her yummy secret spices on the venison.

What an amazing experience! Stunning scenery, outstanding tracks and the most enjoyable way to cycle, with e bike assistance! Lucinda is the most amazing host, bright, bubbly, hospitable! Throughly enjoyed our ride and day!!! Couldnt recommend Lucinda and the Rahui Coastal Loop more highly!!! We will be doing again and maybe even looking into the overnight stay available. I suggest everyone else books a day or weekend at Rahui, you wont be disappointed!!!!

We can't recommend this trip enough. Lucinda was so enthusiastic and passionate about the land, history, the gardens and life! We just loved it from the minute we were picked up until the finish. This was more than just a bike ride.

We took our staff out for the Day Tripper and had a fun day. Not too strenuous at all. A great way to reward your crew and build an appetite for dinner. And Lucinda is the hostess with the mostess. Well worth it.

I just went on the loop for a day trip with 3 friends and it was the most pleasant experience. It was my first time on an e-bike but it was really easy to ride and the loop is kinda perfect : we weren't too tired but we still feel we did some exercice. The scenery is very diverse as you go through the woods, farms, beach... Very pittoresque. It also felt secure as we didn't come across so many cars. Also, I have to Lucinda and her family are the loveliest people and I can't recommend enough this experience. A must do in the Wairarapa!

Rahui Coastal Loop is an amazing bike tour route with incredible scenery and varied terrain made easy with e-bikes. Lucinda is a fantastic host, and together with Lilah and Bill, share their passion for this special hidden corner of the Wairarapa. Thoroughly recommended.

Memories of a fabulous bike ride on 5 January 2023. Seven of us in our group biked the 65km loop in one day. Six of us on MTB e-bikes and one fit pedal MTB biker! Lucinda went out of her way to make sure we had a most enjoyable time, and we did! She visited us beforehand to brief us and provided a quality lunch for us at Rahui Station. She then took us on a tour of the famous gardens here. The day was a great adventure through changing scenery of hills, forest, farmland and coastline. Some MTB experience required but very suitable for anyone comfortable with grade 2 trails. Lucinda followed up with another friendly visit in the evening for a chat about the day. Highly recommended this loop!
