Hidden gem - Stopped in for a meat pie and it was probably the best meat pie I ever had, reasonably priced and friendly service. Must stop here if you are driving through!!

Came here on a recommendation that the pies were top notch! And that was totally correct! My husband and I stopped here after seeing friends in Runanga and he got the beef and cheese and I had the beef and mushroom. Well!!! The beef was so tender and he said there was a load of cheese dotted all through the pie which made it extra good. For me it was the pastry that was just delicious. So moreish but crusty and just divine. You could actually taste the mushrooms in my pie and see them so yes, they were there! The beef was tasty and juicy and to be honest, there was so much I couldn’t finish it!!! Thankyou Top Shop for the amazing pies. We will be back!!!

Pies are made from puff pastry so while a little structurally difficult to eat they were demolished in no time. Fat succulent and perfectly homemade. Delicious. Wish we had bought some to reheat for dinner with mash!

Excellent service and environment. Friendly for in-store eating or heaps of parking. Lovely fish she gave me a extra bit because it was small so definitely happy here. I'll be back :)
