These guys go further than just selling you a tyre, they check your battery and oil, fluids or make sure your car is safe, also they tell you about the options you have on tyre choice and the pros and cons for different options. I was on holiday traveling with a caravan and blew out a tyre on my car. They got me one and fitted it in a couple of hours which was impressive because it had to come from Dunedin. All in all they turned a nasty situation into a pleasant one, I highly recommend Beaurepaires in Oamaru if you need tyres

We are traveling the south island for 6...8 weeks and as we come out of Mt Cook I noticed a vibrations in the front end of our bus ... When we stopped I had a look and the front right had torn and flat spotted the tyre .. Got into oamaru late Sunday arvo and did the old google search and found beaurepairs found they opened 7.30 am on Monday ... Phoned them and a very understanding chap by the name Steve helped us out the tyres had to come from Dunedin and said they should be at the shop around 1.30 pm .. On the dot Steve phoned and said that the tyres would not be there till 3.30 pm bit of a hick up but all good ... We dropped our motor home off and went for a walk and Steve phoned and said all done and ready to pick up ... Got back and I was handed a card by one of the other workers telling me that all was done and to check the torque set after a sertant amount of ks ... All very useful information for us .. They also double checked with us ad to what pressures I run and that we where on the same page .... All in all a very professional and well knowledge staff with customer service better than any other tyre shop I have used or employed when I owned my own mechanical workshop ... I have no nesatation in recommending the business to any one that wants top 20 out of 10 service yes 20 as I find it very refreshing to find good people and businesses that go out of their way to help .... Less than fantastic experience, needed a new tyre for a wof , person at the counter couldn’t of been less interested in helping, it was all eye rolls and sighing and couldn’t even get up to come and actually look at the tyre on the car, ended up just leaving rather than persevere with this person and went to Tyre General and was met with great service and was sorted and on my way with no hassles

Highly recommend,fast friendly service and nothing is a hassle with them because if you don't know it pays to ask and I've never had any problems even if just popping in to ask them a question AAA++++
