Pizza Hut Lower Hutt

Ordered online to Lower Hutt store. Checked order and it said pick up from Johnsonville shop. Rung Johnsonville store with order no. They had no record of it. Tried to ring Lower Hutt store. Just rung & rung. Drove down there. SHUT. Where did my $ go then. Went 2 Domino's in petone instead. NEVER BUY OR ORDER from Lower Hutt again.

The pizza was absolutely delicious, but the area was too cold due to the concrete floor and no carpet. Other than that, was very good

We ordered online on Easter for 8pm and they closed at 8pm. We still went anyways but when we got there it was closed (obviously) but my sister got out of the car and knocked and said can she come in and they were just waving back and obviously mimicking her. Change your times at least 10 minutes before closing because it’s just confusing and stupid. Horrible service and horrible time management. Fix it.

After i placed the order accordingly to the website opening hours and I get order confirmation by email .u travel all the way to shop the guy in the shop rudely told me that he cancel my order because he is not ready yet and hung up the phone without even saying sorry what a rude service

It has obviously been through some issues recently with the telephone and web ordering including delivery issues. Seems to be improving. If I wasn't such a fan, I would have gone to the competition even though my family members have already done so.

I ordered the fried chicken and bacon ranch but I could count 5 small specs of bacon. My 2nd bad experience at a Pizza Hutt outlet in so many months. My wife prefers the competitors offering, and I now tend to agree.

When they are open which isn't alot lately they do decent pizza haven't had many bad experiences. I give two stars because they need to improve. Advertise jobs, do background checks on potential employees. To management, if you would like to advertise in public buildings for example library's you need to approach the Hutt City council. I look forward to my next Ham and Cheese pizza still one of the best value meals in Lowerhutt.30th June 2023In a complete turn around its my pleasure to say Pizza Hutt Lower Hutt is open for business from what i can tell 7 days a week till late with most of their old staff back and the place is booming. You might be wondering what the story is? As far as i know there's a new owner and most of the old staff came back. I wont speculate and are happy that the company has had a turn around as keeping your business closed for 2 months or longer with like a single night being open in all that time and a single staff member isn't a good look. My first experience with this change was last Thursday night, possibly a married couple ordered one of the biggest stacks of pizza's ive seen in a long time must of been about 30 pizza's the supervisor along with another staff member carried them out for the couple to their car what service! Also that night the supervisor turned the tv on the first time in all the time ive been eating there ive ever seen it turned on once! and another staff member actually cleaned tables between customer use i was shocked! Just goes to show what a good owner can do for a company. Watch this space as there might be some big improvements yet to come. The pizza's weren't bad either about as good as ive ever had did notice that there was more garlic and chilli than usual it was quite packed - i like Pizza Hutt freebies :o Also the staff often seem to be bringing pizzas out to my table really good service im impressed with the turn around. Its become an enjoyable place to eat a pizza whilst your on your way out and about. Hopefully someone passes on my suggestion of adding a coffee machine plz :DOne of the only negatives is the place needs a huge decor improvement its so bland and bleh. Im sure the owner is aware and hopefully does something about it, doesn't need to be turned into the ritz just spruced up a bit, hard enough running a food business in NZ today no need to spend up big on decor would rather investments were put into improving service and quality of product even if i love the idea of someday dining at a Pizza Hutt restaurant again hehe. Oh yeah get some decent tv channels to wach going even the news would be pretty cool like tv1? if that still happens i don't watch freeview these days wouldn't know whats on the box. Or a music video channel something like that even youtube playlist.Enjoy your next meal at Pizza Hutt Lower Hutt i certainly will :) cant beat the $5.50 ham and cheese pizza for value. I made a mistake with the geo location on the website, so unfortunately they got an order for me that was mistaken. I called to try to deal with it, but sadly was too late and that was my mistake. The initial person I spoke to on the phone suggested I call the manager, who was going to be in around an hour. That's okay, I thought.When I called back nobody answered, but that's not uncommon when you have a busy store and so I tried again. This time I was met with the ear piercing shriek from a fax machine. Thankfully my phone limits such sounds automatically and so it was very brief - certainly not the intended effect. Thinking it a mistake, I waited a moment and then called back again and it happened again.Now aggrieved, I called and waited until someone picked up. I was informed the manager was *not* in and that they *might* be in tomorrow. I was not impressed with that, but I also wasn't impressed with the ear piercing shriek of the fax machine sound and they apologized to me for doing that. The fact that was *intentional* when I bought it up was pretty indicative of an incredibly immature and hostile method for dealing with customers.It wasn't their fault I made a mistake ordering online and to be honest, I wasn't sure what could have been done. What I won't accept is that kind of immature, dangerous and ridiculous treatment of a customer who wanted to just see if there was any viable solution to the problem.Their behaviour ensures I will never order with Pizza Hutt again. Completely unacceptable conduct.
