Playcentre - Terrace End

Terrace End Playcentre has been a sanity saver for me and a great environment to raise my daughters in. I love the fact that this gives me the opportunity to be present in my childrens lives and education as well as benefitting myself from the courses provided for parents. I Would highly recommend to anyone.

Terrace End Playcentre is a wonderful environment for children to be children and have fun. It is incredibly welcoming and has a positive and relaxed atmosphere.The children are always having lots of fun learning and playing together, forging friendships, developing interests and learning about new things.I have really enjoyed the centre and I know my daughter loves coming, whether it is to do some baking, waterplay, messy play or whatever she chooses that day.The other parents are very friendly and I have learnt a lot from them about different activities the children like and about developing activities for children of all ages. The support from other parents is great. The centre has some wonderful resources and is generally a wonderful, fun place for children to be.

Terrace End Playcentre has provided a welcoming, safe and stimulating Early Childhood Education for all four of my children. Through Terrace End Playcentre I have benefited from free NZQA Early Childhood Education workshops that has upskilled me as a parent and has helped me to recognise and celebrate the learning children do through play - every day! Terrace End Playcentre is run by parents and as such, it is a place where I have been supported and valued, and where I have made great friends and connections.

Playcentre has been amazing for myself and my boys. Moving to somewhere new was scary until we were welcomed in to the Terrace End whanau.With friendly people, great resources and a constantly improving environment we are all able to make the most of every session. Learning about parenting and child development, alongside my children learning through their play has been invaluable.I cannot rave enough about Terrace End Playcentre! We are on our second year now and my son had really grown in confidence, curiosity, and developed his social skills, he’s such a loving and caring friend. My daughter has been coming since being born and tho she was shy at first, now she’s a chatter box and feels comfortable with the other children and care givers. As a mum, I’ve found a welcoming and caring community too. I definitely recommend this Playcentre if you are after a not too crowded environment where you can first handedly enhance the growth of your child, as well as, your own skills and understanding of ECE.
