Great for a play, picnic and a swim, especially after hiking Mt Manaia or Mt Aubrey. Could do with a shade sail over summer time.

Kids love it. Ages 2 to 10. Great beach for swimming. Lots of rocks for kids to explore. Bring beach shoes for the rocks due to oyster shells. Lots of grass to set up a gazebo for the day. Shops near by for coffee and food. Sometimes even a wood fire pizza truck turns up

Nice playground on the foreshore at McLeods Bay. Close to toilet block and not far from coffee shop and take away store.

We love this playground. Wish there was a sunshade but it's still awesome. Perfect for the locals.

Set in McClouds bay, this is good, safe place to take the children and families to enjoy this safe place to play and paddle. There is a fish and chip shop nearby that also sells ice-cream.
