We had a great day with Andy! We did a 3 hour tour with them. On our day it was a bit windy but Cathedral Cove Kayak Tours were on top of it changing to a one-way from Cooks Beach to Hahei Beach. It was a beautiful paddle.

An absolute must experience on any trip to the Coromandel Peninsula. Guide (Jack) was fantastic and knowledgeable. Stunning scenery like few places on earth. Great way to experience the beauty. Can’t recommend enough.

We had an incredible time sea kayaking and the cove was beautiful! We had lovely weather and calm water, but enough wind to enjoy the sail which was a lot of fun! Our guide was amazing and the hot drinks at the end was a delicious bonus! Would definitely recommend seeing Cathedral Cove this way it was a great adventure and you could get up close and enjoy it at your own pace feeling like it was just you there! Brilliant activity that we all loved, a highlight on our trip in NZ!

Brilliant!!! Went out today with my partner and two other couples. Our tour guide was a really nice man called Andy! He knew exactly what he was doing and really showed everyone a great time!! We not only saw some absolutely gems of sites, including Gemstone Bay, Stingray Bay and Cathedral Cove, we also saw some bonus wildlife! This was a highlight of our tour for sure! Andy led us on a memorable experience - kayaking from Haehi beach out to some nearby islands where we paddled through a cave, then on to Cathedral Cove - such an amazing spot! We had a good coffee and bikkie then paddled back to Hahei stopping at a marine reserve area on the way back. Everything was well organised, safe, and friendly. The equipment was very good - life jackets, drybags, skirts etc to keep us comfortable. The best way to see Cathedral Cove!

We really enjoyed this kayak tour! While the flooding / damage that happened to cathedral cove is terribly unfortunate, it was quite magical to see it from the water completely empty and to ourselves which definitely seemed quite rare given the popularity of this spot. We aren’t the most avid kayakers but had an absolute blast exploring the coast. Highly recommend this tour to anyone! The coffee/tea/hot chocolate/ biscuits served after were a nice extra treat!

Thanks Andy for a cool day out. Great tour guide with a fountain of facts and stories. The pricing almost put us off, I'd say it should be a little cheaper but since it likely makes for a cosier group, it probably works out well. The full day tour is essentially just paying both tours in the same day, you come back to the beach landing and then kayak out to the second destination, adding or removing whoever booked that tour. The cathedral cove was great, it was a tourist spot that everyone goes to see and kayaking there is a really great experience.I would HIGHlY recommend the blowhole tour though. This was the adventure that made the day, neigh, the entire holiday for me. You get to see soo much, and essentially a bunch of Cathedral coves in the water.Do the Full day tour, or do the blowhole kayak and hike the Cathedral cove another day for the best experience. I will say, take sunblock! I put some on as we left, it didn't last the day, it needs a top up after 3 hours and lacquer it on...My face is on fire right now. Don't bother with legs/torso much, they don't get to see any sun while kayaking. Shoulders up and arms.Have a great time, I certainly did!
