The best cafe in Stratford. Professional and welcoming staff, delicious coffee and their cabin food is just divine. Cafe is a gallery as well so you can enjoy some nice art and also a distillery producing their own gin and vodka. The manager was amazing and offered me vegetarian option of some food which wasn't even displayed. Great experience!!

Amazing gin tasting experience. Their gin is also amazing. We got the Poet and the Pioneer and love it so much. The staff are lovely and friendly too

The coffee was served at a pleasant serving temperature, so many smaller towns burn coffee beans. I had a soy latte and it was delicious. I ate the Brownie with yoghurt, which helped to balance out the sweetness a bit more for a more enjoyable eating experience. The only criticism is that the woman serving might have been having a bad day or just isn't interested in serving people. I always give the benefit of the doubt. Can't define a business by that first interaction, however, the first interaction defines perception, Oxymoron. In saying that I'll go back to try the other food on the menu for lunch another time.

Had a great experience here last June, & now very happy to return on a drive from New Plymouth to Whanganui with my wife. Great breakfast, interesting gins & eclectic art/craft exhibits - a real oasis. Hope to be back again on a future visit!

Came here because of reviews. Not sure why it has such high reviews. Meals were really disappointing and overpriced. Coffee was average. Maybe we are just used to a higher standard of cafes than here?
